Very disappointed with our lack of depth, whether it’s coaching decisions or poor recruiting. We can’t continue having three players who play 40 minutes and one who plays 39. The other starter fouled out so he only played 32 minutes.

I agree our lack of depth hurt us. Whatever the reason for our lack of depth, we need to get it fixed. We can't keep relying on 7 kids to give us any chance to win and have them play so many minutes per game.

Should've won. This one hurt.

RE: WAC MBB Week #3
Chin up Tarleton fans! It’s an opportunity to see how the guys get up off the mat and respond. NMSU just had the same opportunity in Myrtle Beach. While I would love to be sitting here undefeated with a win agains Utah State, I was happy to see the team fight back and beat Indiana State.

Let’s see how they do in their next game. We all have games like that. GCU may have just had theirs against Wyoming. I’ll be interested to see how they come back from that game too.

GO AGGIES!!

The fact that you all are competing at a high level without the depth speaks volumes. The depth will come. It never comes as fast as fans would like but give it a couple of years and it’ll be there. You all have a competitive team, a recognizable coach and good location. Depth probably won’t be an issue moving forward.

I get that. Getting depth takes time and Tarleton being competitive against the schools we've gone up against is great and certainly is a great sign for the future. Still doesn't make last night's result any less bitter.

Didn't BCG have depth issues last year as well? If so, maybe it's not a depth issue. Perhaps BCG likes to play with a small rotation?

There were depth issues but how much of that was due to changing coaches. Far be it from me to question any college coach but I fail to see how playing 7 guys for a game will lead to consistent success.

He referenced in his postgame interview that the ones playing are the ones he feels have earned the playing time. Regardless of how good of a player they are, if they aren't practicing hard or giving 110% when they do get out there, I promise that BCG won't play them.

Stephen F. Austin is up 38-28 over Buffalo at the half. The game is on the CBSSports network. The Lumberjacks are dominating the boards 23-14.

After a week off, I am glad we have McMurry to knock some rust off on Saturday. I am hoping our guys have a little chip on their shoulder after losing their Bahamas trip.

UTRGV 72 Fullerton 67.

Have to get more than 7 players. By the end we had 1 fouled out and 2 with 4 fouls each.

SFA wins by 1. What a wild second half. Segu went off for Buffalo with 20 second half points. Seemed like he couldn't miss. SFA went shot for shot with him and got a couple defensive stops at the end to win.

I would say I am a little disappointed in Lamar's performance to date. They had opportunities to have gotten a win against a D1 team but just haven't. I'm sure part of it is the number of new players, but in my opinion, there is lack of adequate ball movement in the half-court offense.

In case you were wondering: first season D3 move-up St. Thomas already has a non-conference away win. Tarleton has 0!
