If App wants to win a conference championship, they will not have room for the same mistakes we continue to see. Ref's have been terrible in every conference game I've watched so far. Every App opponent stays relatively scotch free while App has several penalties called. I can't be convinced they play that much cleaner.
3. Georgia State - was blown out by App but played Louisiana to a close game and beat Coastal. The win against Coastal may not have come with McCall at the helm but, and a big but, it was Georgia State's offense that has began to play at a high level.
4. Coastal - I figured that they would take a step back when everyone of their opponents had the same practice time to prepare and they have. Their defense lost them the game. Perhaps McCall gives Georgia State some less advantageous situations on offense but you can't give up 42 points and expect to win.
5. Troy - Talented, undercoached
6. USA - Talented, very good defense and offense. I'm still puzzled as to how they only scored one touchdown against App.
7. Georgia Southern - Seems Helton may have asked to see more passing or Southern's staff decided to do it themselves. It seems like it's working. I wonder if they are trying to install some of Helton's offense during the week to see some basic plays and where players fit. Seems a Fritz type of offense may be what Helton tries to adopt. I could be totally wrong.
8. Arkansas State - well coached team who hasn't given up despite their record. Surprised Wyatt didn't play this week.
9. ULM - Punched above their weight class mid-season, they have fallen off as of late.
10. Texas State - Spavital may be done? Talented, undercoached team with a questionable recruiting strategy. Whomever is hired next will need to recruit high school players and that will take a few years.
Well Louisiana has at least one convincing win. I bet you remember it.
When it mattered we didn't show up and UL is undefeated. There's no rationalizing it. Winning is what counts. Only UL hasn't lost. Case closed.

Thank you. You are a man of honor.
App has had our number for so long it’s also an honor to at least to be competitive with y’all now.
I’m thinking it’s going to be one helluva game 12/4.

Agree 100%. Last season, we beat MTSU 47-14 on the road to open the season, and it wasn't even that close, as MTSU scored late in the 4th. A few months later they beat us at home.
In 2017, this I this the one I always point to, Auburn beat #1 Georgia 40-7, and just three weeks later lost to Georgia in the SEC championship game 28-7.
It sounds like the Cajuns emptied their playbook against APP, and I'm positive the Cajuns won't win by that much again, if at all. I'd give APP the advantage in this game, personally.
Hmmm. Not sure where you heard that we emptied our playbook for the app game. Source? Also, you seem to be awfully sure that app hasn’t ‘empytied’ their playbook, so I wonder what evidence you’re basing that on? But since it’s so late in the season there is plenty of film to watch. For both teams.
Finally, I keep hearing this theory about beating a team twice in one year, decided to do some research on it. Found a guy who did a study on it. Hint: the whole thing is a myth, and not valid:
study disproving the ‘too hard to beat the same team twice’ myth
Or you could have just looked at the 2018 & 2019 Sun Belt Conference Champions for verification.

Just a warning. I think it's a rule that if you host the conference championship game your coach has to leave after

According to Colley Matrix, Appalachian State is the best win for Miami. That's cool.

I still put Louisiana first. As far as I can tell, Louisiana only has two wins by more than one score. Despite being undefeated in conference games, through 7, they have won 2 and left no doubt. The rest were nail biters. That goes back to what we've all been saying and that is that there is no off week in conference play now.
Three years ago there were games you knew weren't going to be difficult. The players and coaching of those teams was off and you knew it should be an easy win. There isn't really one poorly coached team in the Sun Belt now other than maybe the team without a coach, and even they win ball games.
