Its very possible that the huge effort made to keep LaTech from "rolling in the mud with ULL and ULM" will end with LaTech regularly rolling in the mud with McNeese and New Mexico St. I cant imagine that was ever the glide path they envisioned. It would have been awesome if Tech had taken the path taken by the Cajuns and the Warhawks. Sadly, Tech took the path of Burning Their Bridges as they never intended to use them again and they left a Scorched Earth Trail behind them when it comes to the SBC. Sad because they are a small College Town with a Football First emphasis and are what the SBC has become. Several of their Fans even after being left behind continue to disparage and trash the SBC. They just cannot understand and accept what they have done to themselves and they need someone to blame other than themselves. Seems USM is now being singled out for blame by some Tech Fans and that is sad and wrong.
