How dare Southern Miss do what is best for Southern Miss. They should have stayed in that mudhole CUSA and been in a conference with Sam Houston State and something called Tarleton State.

Yeah no, just because LA Tech for the past 40 years has done nothing but downplay the SB. And have the ADMIN of that school ramp up the disrespect the last 20 years, when football started. Doesn't mean Southern Miss has to take a mud bath with LA Tech now.

I see tech more like Taylor Vaughn from She's All That. Completely self-absorbed and so arrogant that even though she's hot everybody pretty much hates her

Ive never once heard anyone from Marshall disrespect Ohio, Miami OH, Cincinnati, Morehead State or even any of the D2 schools in our area. One day, some how, someway you may actually need those people.

I went to school there for 2 years before transferring to USM. I can assure you a vocal minority of fans, administrators think they are better than just about everyone that isn’t an AAU school. Tech would have gladly feed anyone in CUSA to the wolves to better their situation and then they would have been high and mighty about it.

Even look at Marshall app and GSU.

If Marshall was as petty as tech or app no way would they be in the conference after leaving the socon in the 90s.

Instead they at least maintained some sort of rivalry and relationship to the point where it's going to be an awesome game for the belt

I also understand what Tech has wanted to do for years and that is separate themselves from others. But you do that on the field, in the classroom and with the research you do. And not in the court of public opinion.
