Yes. It's fake.

Also fake: the OP is now suddenly a C-USA fan as opposed to supposedly being a fan of BC up until yesterday.

Got to presume that Grambling & Southern may have also been a part of the equation? There was a lot of conversation earlier on in the Southland talk that they were looking to the SWAC schools.

Apparently Midwestern State also rejected overtures from the Southland too but guess that's not settled or confirmed yet?

Prairie View will be interesting to watch. The school, the town (and nearby Hempstead), that exurb area is changing rapidly.

According to Dave Wanstedt there once was a plan for the P4 to take the 8 remaining teams in the BIG 12. Since that plan fell apart I can only conclude

Big Ten rejected Kansas and ISU

PAC rejected KanST, OkSt, TT, TCU

ACC rejected WV and Baylor.

Or something like that

Yea, that's a Xavier fan's parody account that mostly makes jokes at Cincy's expense.

I am guessing that Jim Phillips has repeatedly asked ND to join the ACC since the Texas/Oklahoma move.

My bet is that ND has consistently rejected those overtures.

UMass football only was rejected by the MAC
UMass football only is falling on deaf ears at CUSA.

Time will tell but do not like football only as it is a short term place holder that usually ends badly.

Personally been advocating for full sports to the MAC as it is good with both football and basketball and other sports. The geography is not that bad.

Wish our administration could listen, but people can only hear when they are ready to listen. Perhaps later next year.

The A10 is much weaker than it was in 2014 with 6 bids and now averaging closer to 2 bids, plus there are 3 attractive teams that could get picked off, VCU, Dayton, and St. Louis. The Bonnies are very good but not as attractive.
