How many conference realignment "rejections" this cycle?
Let's see... Am I missing any conference realignment "rejections"?

MTSU rejected the MAC
McNeese State rejected the WAC
CSU/AFA rejected the AAC
Conference USA rejected UConn

The MWC reportedly rejected all available Texas schools. 3 Texas schools then joined the AAC.

UConn kicked the tires on CUSA for due diligence reasons and passed.

Any other assertions are just from UConn haters trying to smear the school.

Heard Angelo State rejected The Southland because money issues.

You can add Army, Boise State and San Diego State rejected AAC.

Middle Tennessee State rejected MAC.

MAC rejected WKU.

Yes. It's fake.

Also fake: the OP is now suddenly a C-USA fan as opposed to supposedly being a fan of BC up until yesterday.

Did the C-USA reject UMASS or is that situation still all up in the air as of now?

Right, UCONN has just been the glowing example of being successful being independent in football. Looks like following the UMASS rapport has really worked well for them. When all is said and done the only independents left

Army & ND - Both successful Independents with Bowl Tie-ins as an independent.

UConn and UMASS - At present rate, will not likely be able to get tie-ins if the bowls per conference rule still exists. Then again how much longer will bowls be around?

Note - Liberty became Eligible this year with three straight Bowl Eligible season to have tie-ins if they remained independent for the next go round. With CUSA, that no longer appears to be an issue.

Uhhhhhh, UConn has a whopping nine games under their belt as an Independent. It seems to me that making a permanent judgment call off of three-quarters of one season is a little premature.

I don't think anyone really believed the BC fandom to start with IMO.

In fairness to Western Kentucky, it really is more of a "not now" position than a "no."

I think that's a fair assessment.

But you can't spell "not now" without two "no"'s 03-lmfao

Back to being serious - hopefully it can work out down the road for WKU and the MAC

RE: How many conference realignment "rejections" this cycle?
Didn't Texas Southern & Prairie View A&M reject overtures from the Southland? Got to presume that Grambling & Southern may have also been a part of the equation? There was a lot of conversation earlier on in the Southland talk that they were looking to the SWAC schools.

Apparently Midwestern State also rejected overtures from the Southland too but guess that's not settled or confirmed yet?
