RE: NCAA Baseball Tournament
Stanford now up 14-2 in B8th at TT. Raider faithful can't be happy.

I seem to remember that score in another Stanford game, but Stanford was on the other end. Can't quite place the game, time, etc. 05-stirthepot

Stanford leads TT 4-1 in the B4. Both teams sporting red, black and white or gray unis. I’ve not seen Stanford with black jersey/hats before.

The problem with Stanford is they only have one quality pitcher. Very odd for the Cardinal, who like us, have historically been a pitching first program. To win at least one of the next two games they're going to have to beat Tech in a likely slugfest.

They got their slugfest today - hope they saved some runs for tomorrow. Did Tech hold out the better pitchers for games 2 and 3 to avoid the Cardinal's best pitcher?

Slugfest suggests both teams are pounding the baseball. With a 15-3 final, this was more of a butt-kicking.

Re the TT pitching, they used the same starter today, Hampton, that started the 1st game of their regional vs Army.

Ark jumping all over NCST 7-1 in T5.

The remaining game today starts at 8pm CDT - Ole Miss vs Arizona in Tucson. Current temp in Tucson is 103F, but forecast to be down to 101F by game time. But it’s a dry heat .... 18F dew point currently.

After living in Harris County for 60+ years and then the last 3 years in Comal County, I’ll take the Hill Country version of humidity any day!

DBU up on UVA going to T9. DBU is home team. Game is in a lightning delay in T9. That sucks.

Grand Slam puts Stanford up 8-0 in B6. TT has more errors than hits thus far, 2-1.
