I'm with aardWolf. Keep recruiting as high as possible and keep getting better. I think the offensive change has been the biggest step in his college coaching growth so far.

Need a big who can pass like that big lumber Jack guy for Loyola CHI. Dude has IQ and passing like the modern NBA big. His bounce passes are lethal.
IMO Dandridge's passing ability and to a lesser extent Cisse's is underutilized when it comes to facilitating. Dandridge not being used more in this role is one of the more disappointing things for me.
First, if Dandrige made all the 1 foot, flat footed, under the basket dunks that he has missed, we would be undefeated. Passing ability my azz.
Second, if Cisse could catch a fast pass under the basket and go straight up and dunk, we would be undefeated. He has just got to work on his hands. Yes, he is a freshman that should still be in high school...but he ain't. He is in D1 high level basketball and he just has to get it done. Period.
I don't see how those things you mention relate to their passing ability.
Also that's not quite true about being undefeated with Dandridge makes. Without even looking at where he missed we lost to VCU by 11 and he when 0-2. He was 4-5 in the first Houston game and going 5-5 is still negated by Houston's last second shot. In the second Houston game he didn't take any shots. And this of course ignores other players making more shots.
For the season Dandridge has only taken 78 FGA this season which works out to 3.4 per game. And he made 56.4% of those which is the best FG% on the team followed closely by Cisse at 55.4%. No one else is over 50% with Williams being the closest and 3rd at 48.6%. For extra perspective Lomax is 4th at 45.8%.
I missed the majority of the Dayton game, but looking at the stats that was arguably Dandridge's worst shooting performance for the whole season. Considering how many on this team were bad at finishing this season I can't single him out for his misses at the rim.
There are too many other factors that play into the losses to say those two specific things are the cause. Personally I think they are very low on the list. But neither relate to their passing/facilitating ability.
He's completely full of it. He wants Dandridge to leave.

Really? That's unfortunate as I think we both would like to see him more in that passing role.

He lost his mind because Dandridge missed 5 shots in our first round NIT game. It's unacceptable. He wants him off the team.

BS, just straight up BS. If you can't see the improvement it's because you don't want to.

good grief
Keep talking as Penny keeps outcoaching and the roster keeps outplaying all these other coaches.

Sure would’ve been nice to snag Mike Miller’s son.
He was always heading out of town.
That's not to say we can't get him in a couple of years though, when he tires of Nebraska.

I would like to see Penny not be so impressed by 4 and 5 star rankings and find some dogs and kids who can shoot. Not who WILL shoot, but CAN shoot.
Which 4's and 5's are you disappointed with?
