I'm okay w/ that. It's pretty much just the horse head we've been using since at least the late 90s.

I just think it's really, really dumb this is coming after the school had the whole 'rebrand project' a few years ago w/ the logo being the Bronco head over the W, & this is completely unnecessary other then to boost the resume of whoever's approving it.

Great way to spend money they don't have.

To think someone was hired to put together a committee to discuss and change this ... with absolutely NO need.

What’s funny is that this logo (the original) was designed by the same design team that designed the Denver Broncos logo.

I think this is true. I heard from multiple people within (one coach, one admin) that it was basically "you are doing this. deal with it"

Similar vibe I got when getting these pictures. I got the feeling that the school told athletics “use what logo you want but here’s the two logos (w or bronco head)). And the same comment I keep hearing from 3 athletics people is “the logo will grow on me”. Doesn’t seem they incorporated athletics at all in this rebrand.

Feels like change for change's sake.

At least they didn't completely dump Bronco logo.

So what was the point of this rebrand?

Absolutely no point.

And I'm sure the high school quality of this logo reflects the budget they had available for this rebrand. Seems like the first thing you'd put on pause during the pandemic is a logo redesign.

The rumor is everything was approved right before the pandemic hit. Still nothing to be worth wasting our already-limited budget on, but that was pre-crisis budget.
