0-5.

Whatever.

Real football fans understand, there is a difference between beating BYU and FAU... but you go on ahead... being.... you.

Is that a fact? Tell me what a real football fan "understands" about this.

Losses to

Auburn
Western Kentucky
Iowa St
Wake Forest
Penn St

Iowa St and Wake Forest were toss ups. Penn St got away from us. WKU and Auburn were routs.

Also, no Henderson against ISU and WF. We could’ve won those going away. WKU was the real disappointment of those. The win tonight was different— we wanted to win the game— we knew we were going to win the game— and we won the game.

Yeah---we didn't want to win those games

I sense your sarcasm. Sure, every team wants to win a bowl game. But there is something to be said about really, really wanting to win a bowl game. Outside of the playoffs, I would say this is one of the biggest factors in who wins bowl games. The 2003 New Orleans Bowl, the Miami Beach Bowl, and tonight— we had a vengeance, and you just knew we were going to win. Hell, Allen Cross made himself bleed before the Miami Beach Bowl. Against WF and ISU, we were already coming up with excuses about how we weren’t fully invested or had key players out before the game even began.

All said the team was tough in close games

Lost at SMU on last play

But came back from 2 TDs in the fourth against both UCF and USF
And after losing a big lead didn’t pout and beat Houston on last play
Let alone Navy game which needed big late plays

Tough minded. Yes, the Cincy game was a bad effort but after what, 5 straight over them, several by big margins, they were good and destined to get one back. The Tulane game was really the only Turkey based on score and opponent

QB play will matter but we will still have as talented a roster as anyone in conference next year, suspect another good one

OK --now I understand ---the other TIGER teams only wanted to REALLY win----however tonight's team wanted to REALLY REALLY win---makes sense --I can't believe I couldn't see it before .

No you must comply to the group think.

I mean.... we were really going to start getting creative if we could have gotten past the first 10 or so retorts.

Your retort is that because Fuente and Norvell sucked at bowl games, we shouldn't give Silverfield credit. That is much more creative than Twinkletoes, Tinkerbell and Shere.
