I don’t reply, but, I also don’t control others. I think the fact that he has been banned TWICE already is explanation enough.
Then use the down arrow and pan on by.
He wasn't posting naked pictures of Oprah or people killing kittens.
He ruins entire threads.......and all of them. If you are fine with that, we will just have to disagree.
You can put any poster on ignore, including me.
Ruining entire and all threads is a bit hyperbolic. I can think of few posters on here over the years who couldn't be dealt with by using the ignore function if they bother a person that much.
I wouldn't think we'd want to ban people who are part of a clearly shrinking fanbase.
To each his own, I guess.
Sure you can put a person on ignore.
But why can't an adult be relied on to act like an adult and recognize this is a community space with community expectations and act accordingly?
Hell, there's a space here carved out for political talk and if you want to partake in it you go there...and if you don't...you don't.
He clearly didn't like those rules and did whatever the hell he wanted to do.
So, he got a timeout (more than fair) and when he came back, he acted the same way showing zero intent in following the expectations.
He deserves no sympathy. He repeatedly chose not to follow the community expectations and was escorted off the premises for it. It's really as simple as that.
He very well may be a big fan of NIU athletics. I didn't know him like some others here but, even with what I did know of him, I can't argue with that.
But to also assume that this community is somehow ruining or straining NIU fans relationship with the school or program because it ran off someone who didn't want to play nice with others is either short-sighted or an act of over-valuing the importance of this community.
He's also, from what I can tell, not banned from reading these forums (I could be wrong). He just can't participate (post/comment) in them anymore.
