The linebackers can't get underneath fast enough especially if they see play action. They also don't seem to like being in nickel, maybe worried about the run.

I disagree. The safeties are out there, we deal with is a press the corners in man. 2 deep. Easy for the kids to stay back.

So how do you propose stopping the run with 7? See the issue?

The run has not been a problem though. You are attempting to fix a problem that isn’t there. We do OK against the run. We suck against the Pass. You have to fix the problem.

7 is a liability in both run and pass.

Nice, forcing turnovers has been a big problem for us this season. We need these extra chances to score.

The run isn't a problem because they play with 8 in the box. Including leaving all 3 LBs on the field mist of the time. They were playing man on the touchdown

Shock of the day for me?

I really like devin Gardner as an analyst. He does a great job...we have had some terrible analysts on espn3. I like him

By design. I don’t love this D either. The outside (at least strong side) seems to be the responsibility of the corner or OLB on run plays.

It’s weird to watch but that seems to be the strategy right now. When a safety is walked up it is his.

And now the run is a problem. The longest play of the game while technically a “pass”, was really a 36 yard run

Gandy gave that guy a 7-8 yard cushion on the goal line.

Lol. That is a rookie defensive mistake. The DC has some explaining to do.
