Questions:

1. Why are the Madsens not playing?

2. Where is the Russian? Is there a chance he will arrive before the end of the season, and is he good enough to help us?

Mason is still injured. Not sure why Gabe isn't seeing the floor, but with freshmen, I feel like it's usually because they aren't ready to defend at a high-major level. No clue about Lakhin -- I didn't even know he wasn't in the US until someone mentioned it earlier in this thread. If that's the case, I hope he gets here soon, because we need him to adjust to the system/lifestyle and be ready to contribute next season for sure.

You must've missed last game too...he looks like he's in hibernation.

He was allowed to freelance all over the court for Colgate on offense like it was a pickup game.

He may be Jaevin Cumberland II. Will have some bright spots but is not going to be the rent a player player we hoped we were getting.

Rap can't shoot. His Jumper is broke as a joke.

He shot like shat but he also committed silly fouls, had some turnovers, was out of position at times, forgot how to properly drive to the basket, generally looked frustrated as hell. Other than that he looked great.

Getting passed by Eason and Davenport, hope he doesn’t go the Sorolla route and just head back to Europe mid season.

He just isn’t cut out to be the lead dog.

Either a person is an alpha or they are not.

KW seems to prefer being second fiddle who can have huge games here and there, but shrinks when he is supposed to be the lead man carrying the team.

Jeremiah Davenport is an alpha. I want to see his minutes skyrocket.

Those two guys are part of our future success no doubt. Not quite there yet but I sure like the upside. Really appreciate Davo's fearlessness and energy. Man, if he can get that trey shot to consistently be a part of his arsenal and with his length - look out.

Was really pleasantly surprised by him today. I hope those makes from 3 weren't an anomaly because having him to space the floor and shoot even 30% from 3 would really benefit us.

Put a bunch of freshman and sophomores on the floor and some are going to stand out more than others, but it's important to keep them all in the program, because many who cant contribute as underclassmen will contribute as upperclassmen. Better to have them than always be scrambling for transfers to plug holes. Let's hope that Harvey comes around.

With the hype Eason got when he signed, I will be surprised if he stays more than two years.

Busy day, just watched the recording while keeping myself uninformed throughout the day of the result. WTF. Are you kidding me. 26-10 fouls. Take our two best players out of the game with bull**** calls...each played 16 minutes. What are the names of these sons of ******* refs. We need justice. I want these sons of ******* fired!!!

One could argue that the fouls kept TN in the game but come on, we made one shot in the final six minutes. That's on us.

Actually, two. But the refs took it away on that bull**** traveling call on the step back three pointer.

Both can be true. This team seems to want to defer to Keith late but Keith really isn't cut out for it. Need to figure that part out quickly.

I think you give the ball to DeJulius and let him create. I think by the end of the year, it’s his team.

Keith is a good player but trying to use him like Cumberland is not gonna work. He doesn’t have the handles or the savvy. He works better when you don’t see him coming.

The 5-second out-of-bounds call was horsesh*t. The missed goaltending call on Dejulius was also horsesh*t.

i tend to agree. DDJ should have the ball in his hands at the end of the game and end of clock situations. i think you can run screen/roll with DDJ and Keith and get Keith moving towards the hoop where he can try and use his athleticism to score at the rim, or kick out to someone for three or pick and pop with DDJ and Rap. Either way DDJ should be initiating the offense.

DeJulius did have the ball at the end of the game. In the last 6 minutes, he had 4 shots and a turnover.

Didn't get a chance to see the game, only listened on 700 so i didn't recall his sequences. Were they bad shots? Was the TO on him or someone else?

Did catch some highlights. As good as Eason is going to be, he looks a little lost on D and also needs to communicate more when his teammates are getting screened. And our defenders go for every pump fake ever...
