I don't think much of anything is set past the bowls playing in the next 7 days or so,

CBS which has had us playing in the Birmingham bowl for weeks (until last week), now has us slotted in the Camelia Bowl vs. Ball State. I suspect the bowl in Birmingham would lobby for UAB against a poor SEC team over a west coast G5 like San Jose State. Of course the SEC would likely be too cowardly and object to an SEC team playing a "road" game at UAB.

Id like to see us play San Jose State. These are the kind of OOC games we should be scheduling in the regular season.

I bet it will be Vanderbilt for the Birmingham Bowl

This is their first winning record since joining the mountain west in 2013.

I think McMurphy probably knows more than most. And UAB to the Birmingham Bowl confirms what I have been hearing from local folks close to the program. That’s what we are now counting on, and we are making other holiday plans instead.

Bham Bowl said tickets will be sold on First Come, First to be served basis. Be ready if that’s our announced destination. Remember covid restrictions will still limit capacity.

Cincinnati and Tulsa play at 7CST. Projections are Tulsa coming to Bham if Cincy wins. Not sure what happens if Tulsa wins.

Maryland latest team announcing it won’t go to a bowl game, meaning 3 bowls will be canceled, sources told @Stadium. Not official, but expected to be Military, Independence & Guaranteed Rate, sources said

Hes batting 1.000 so far on games not cancelled.

Has us, as said above, projected to cure bowl vs Coastal Carolina.

I Would rather the team play in Birmingham on New Year’s Day. they’d get to celebrate Christmas without football focus and less tempting to cancel a home game.
