I think you misunderstood. Lots of us post during work. Tommie Bois ONLY posts during work.

My fumble. I did, in fact, misunderstand.
Nevermind that the statement he made was...as per usual with him...factually inaccurate.
On most days, I post something before I start my work day and after it's complete. And I've posted on nights on weekends on probably a thousand occasions or more over the years.
In fact, my work day ended at 3 today, but here I am...posting.

Keep posting, Tom. I enjoy reading a diversity of opinions on this board.

Oh he does it, but it's rare enough that people notice when he does.
"Oh look Tom's here on the weekend!!"
"thousands" my arse.
I've only noticed one time since I've been around here. But I do agree with you.
"thousands" my arse"
y'all can blame my arse for this shite ... I tagged him as a "paid op" over a decade ago ... it was obvious he only posted during work hours with a Pinocchio agenda...
he misses the Hambone and others that used to engage with verve and vigor ... there's a reason they finally gave up...
all I know, is this still applies to the commie tommie ...

And asking for additional assistance in verifying citizenship is not the same as claiming noncitizens are being added to the Qualified Voter File (QVF) without local knowledge.
And I found the following nugget on a website when looking into this further. Wise words you should probably heed after your Germany server USA deaths debacle.
Wouldn't it just be easier for you to say "I don't care"
Here's another little nugget for you to chew on.
Democrat canvassers vote to keep Citizens Only Voting initiative off November ballot
Americans for Citizen Voting Chairman Paul Jacob:
'You can't cheat the people of Michigan and get away with it'
Lansing—Democratic members of the Michigan Board of State Canvassers voted Monday against certifying the Americans for Citizen Voting initiative, leaving the proposed constitutional amendment to require proof of citizenship off the November ballot after a contentious debate.
The four-member board deadlocked 2-2, with Republican members Chair Richard Houskamp and Paul Cordes voting to certify the petition and Democratic members Vice Chair Mary Ellen Gurewitz and Heather Cummings voting against certification. Since the Board has four members in order to have a petition certified there must be at least three members who vote for it.
The initiative needed 629 valid signatures in the state’s random sample to receive a recommendation for certification. Bureau of Elections staff determined that 626 of the 1,000 signatures reviewed in the sample were valid, putting the petition below the required threshold.
Americans for Citizen Voting challenged the findings and submitted sworn affidavits from petition signers whose signatures had been rejected by election officials. Organizers argued the affidavits demonstrated that several signatures the state had deemed invalid were actually signed by registered voters.
The organization presented testimony from a notary who had notarized affidavits submitted by petition signers. The board reviewed 20 affidavits during the proceedings, with five becoming central to the final decision.
No, because that's a logical fallacy on your part. I care greatly about getting any noncitizens off the voter rolls. But I also understand that it's not the problem your side is telling you it is, so that you don't trust the outcome of elections your side loses.
I'm just asking for actual proof and evidence...not a right with rag reporting on an anonymous tip made to a right-wing not job local sheriff.
And yeah...that measure won't be on the ballot. But it was a dumb measure anyway that would not have passed even if it made the ballot. It would lead to a ridiculous burden being placed on countless voters for a problem...again...that just doesn't exist to be honest.
A review in Michigan in 2024 of 7.2 million active voter registrations found just 15 credible apparent noncitizen voters.
Can you demonstrate for the class which part of his statement is a logical fallacy? Additionally, if you could please expand on exactly what kind of logical fallacy he's guilty of, I would appreciate it. I'll hang up and listen now.
False dilemma/False dichotomy and/or Straw man. Either works.
The first is assuming there are only two possibilities. Either you fully support a topic or your do not care about it at all. A person can care about a topic and still criticize its flaws.
The later is misrepresenting my position and attempting to make it easier to dismiss.
And exactly how has he erected a strawman? And not for nothing, there is no false dilemma in effect. He's presented no either/or arguments. That appears to simply be the easiest way out for you since you cannot effectively argue your position.
You are not very good at this. You may wish to avoid the use of terms you clearly don't understand.
I've considered all of the horse crap that has been spread around in this thread, the personal insults, the whataboutisms, and have come to a conclusion. I'm revoking the warning given to Tom for whataboutisms. It's easier to start handing out retribution for offenses by leveling the playing field.
So, here's what is going to happen from here on out. When a thread contains whataboutisms or personal insults or simply quits discussing the topic in favor of insults whether the post vaguely mentions the O.P. or not, those issuing them will start with a 50% flaming warning, not a 25% warning which allows them to continue to post. It takes a couple of months for a 50% warning to wear off so it is in essence a timed-out ban.
If a thread is rife with these, you won't be able to make the thread go away. But the offending posts will be removed from view and the offenders essentially self-banned with their 50% warning. Upon return to posting should a poster go back to the same antics a full ban will be issued.
As one former poster here had in his avatar, "So let it be written! So let it be done!" which was from Yul Brynner as Ramses II in the Ten Commandments.
