Bummer not to be there!
Return game in 2031.
I believe that would be my 3rd grader's sophomore year in college.
I was at our first match up against Army with my Dad and Mom. We sat over by the student section and I loved it when the band ran down the stadium right next to us.
Army is playing 12 games this season. They are scheduled to play Air Force. Air Force is scheduled to play two games: Army and Navy.
And Collegefootballnews.com projects Bearcats in the Pinstripe bowl against Pitt! App State in the Fiesta Bowl, and UCF in the national semis Sugar Bowl against Alabama. And Air Force in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl against Syracuse. This is going to be crazy 4 months!
And someone bet $25,000 that the Bengals will be in the Super Bowl.

RE: AAC Football Scheduling
Army should have a good record on paper. That'll look good to the pollsters if they ignore Army's schedule strength:
They play 3 FCS schools (Abiline Christian, Citadel, Mercer)
They play 3 teams that had losing records last year: 4-8 MTSU, 5-7 UL-Monroe, 4-8 UTSA
They play 3 teams that were 7-6 last year: BYU, Tulane, Georgia Southern
The toughest games are against Navy, Air Force, and Cincinnati

RE: AAC Football Scheduling
How 'bout this football scenario for game #11:
Friday, Oct 13, 2020 the Bearcats send a caravan of buses to Wright-Patt AFB, Dayton and board a fleet
of C-130 cargo planes. The seats are wide orange webs with lots of leg room for giants like Lorenz Metz
and Cam Jones. The C-130s fly the team, the staff, and everybody needed for the game, plus more, to
Colorado Springs to play the Air Force Academy the next day, Saturday.
The only road trip better than going to West Point or Annapolis for a football game is flying to Colorado Springs
for an AFA game and watch The Falcon flying all over the stadium. The C-130 pilots are good; there is always a good landing,
unless, of course, you have to jump out the the back of the airplane while it's still flying. (Its called parachuting.)
Its an inexpensive trip if Uncle Sam is paying for it. The US air force is always flying Missions of Mercy all over the world.
Playing football in a COVID environment (although clean) can be considered a Mission of Mercy.

Last year Army was 5-8. Looks all of their games were tight except against Navy (31-7 loss) and Hawaii (52-31 Loss). They played Michigan tough, falling 24-21. IIRC they led the majority of that game before the Wolverines pulled it out late in the 4th.
Army rushed for 311 yards a game last year, second only to Navy, with 44 Rushing TDs (also second). They lose their very athletic QB Kelvin Hopkins, who rushed for 24 TDs and passed for 11 more. I am sure his replacement will be more than serviceable in their system but I don't think he will be the athlete Hopkins was. Looks like they lose a lot of Senior starters on defense, including their leading tackler and best DB.
Like our win on Navy, the key will be our defense not letting them have 3rd and short and to get stops on 3rd done. We can't let them chew up the clock and wear down the defense. Offensively our skill position players should be able to take control of a small, but disciplined Army defense.

FYI
C-17's are at WPAFB not c-130's
I live near the base!

I do not see why UC could not sell 2 tickets to each game to it's top 500 donor and give each player 2 tickets for family or girl friends. Would be easy to mask and social distance with under 3%.

Here's hoping a plan is announced soon. The numbers you shared are so small relative to the total size of Nippert that the biggest worry would be social distancing for concessions and restrooms. Of course if all those fans decide to watch while standing around the concourse, it will be a different story.

Based upon those numbers, I think we could expect to have 67 butts in seats at kick-off.

Somehow Pitt would still announce this as a sold out (or sell out) crowd.
