A coach asked, “is college basketball gravitating further toward a pro sports model?“. Just think, in 10-15 years, maybe sooner, after the free agency transfer model is firmly in place, then pay to play will become the next step and who can pay the biggest price will be the ones with the best teams. I like the JV analogy. Maybe the lower level folks can try to make some money in this — develop transfers, but for some money flowing back down the pike from the big boys for providing the service.
