Peppers, onions sauteed in terraki and olive oil and sauer kraut on mine.

buckeye abounds and i'm getting them mightily confused with paw paw. it's a loop trail and close to maysville/ augusta which are even prettier when there are no pandemics

At minimum Mustard and Onions. I usually do Mustard, Onions, and Jalapenos. I also like Sauerkraut sometimes. Skyline Chili and Onions, lastly thick New Mexico Red Chili and Onions=Muy Caliente!

New Mexico RED? Interesting. I smother everything in site with green chile when I get my coupla bushels each October. That's the only regional food I've ever missed (having lived in Colorado for years, then moved).....

I like ketchup on a hot dog, although I can just as easily do without. The one I don't understand is ketchup with steak. I like the taste of A1, and will use it with a cheap cut of meat, but if it's a good steak, I prefer it without sauce. But ketchup? It's like putting spinner hub caps from Walmart on a brand new BMW.

A good steak should need no sauce. Perhaps Béarnaise.

Yesterday I had- roma tomatoes, a slice of zesty dill, sweet relish, pepperoncinis, grilled onions and peppers sauteed in terraki, sauer kraut and yellow mustard. Not quite a Chicago dog, but my own spin on it. it was a nathan’s.

I'm just learning how to cook on a fire. I've always done it, I just wasn't any good and now I'm finally taking the time to follow directions. What a difference, a little prep and lot of patience can do. I've started to make even cheap cuts taste pretty good. Historically, I would rely on a little Worcestershire sauce after the fact. My biggest lesson was obvious and simple, just be patient.

As far as ketchup goes, for me there is just something about the combination of Heinz ketchup and plain yellow mustard on a hot dog that is classic Americana. I LOVE it. Not so much with a Brat or Mett, in which case I'm going brown mustard with onions and peppers if available.

There weren't many people when we were there (we went about 10amm and were done by 1pm). We saw other people at times but for the most part were all by ourselves, away from the world. It was great.

My buddy was telling me they re-opened the Cincinnati Nature Center outside Milford yesterday.

The Cincinnati Nature Center's website says they are still closed. The last update was 4/7 (2 days ago), but they don't update it that often. 4/7 was the first update since they closed everything on 3/23.

(I'm only posting this in case anyone decides to drive there to check it out)
