I would...and might do that. Dont see reason not to unless you are worried about a false positive.

Fair points, but I still disagree with your overall assertion.

WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!!
Everyone knows hi-potency small batch beers are the only effective prevention.
After dinner I'm shooting for immunity for the next three lifetimes.

I sense a realignment of the fault lines on this thread. I’ve got to side strongly with Grommet on this one.

Neither here nor there, just an interesting (to me) observation.
I was just as Wegman’s. As busy as usual. I saw one person not wearing a mask.

I don’t think I would get tested on my own without any symptoms, but I am having outpatient foot surgery next week so I have to get tested. My biggest fear is testing positive with no symptoms. My surgery will be cancelled and then I have to notify everyone I came in contact with that I am positive. The quarantine part I would have to do anyway (aka recovery from surgery).

NoVa really is a different world, I suppose; I live in Rosslyn and mask-wearing is SOP inside, unless you're actually eating and drinking. Even outside, most of the people not wearing are joggers, runners and bicyclists. But I've also heard the compliance numbers fall off pretty dramatically once you get out of the urban areas like Arlington and Alexandria and head out towards western Fairfax and Loudoun counties.

Take it to the realignment board, where someone will suggest a reorganization of bloody marys and beers on geographic lines.

If you are taking this to the realignment board, you also must consider Tanqueray on the rocks. No way would that man-maker want to be in a league with Russian tomato juice and no-name beers!

I wasn’t taking any chances so I followed the bloody with several beers, a strawberry coloda and a little wine. Still symptom free so I’m pretty sure that’s effective

RE: OT- Corona Virus- Where do we go from here?
When are we going to be honest about this? It's easy to blame Trump or the Governors who sent sick people into LTC facilities, but the real issue in all of this is not our politicians. It's not even the virus itself. The real issue is that we are a country of comorbidities. We accept obesity and diabetes, as if we have no control over them. Those are two of the biggest predictors of whether someone or not is going to be hospitalized or die from this virus.
A good friend of mine is 25. Rugby player. Good health. He got COVID. He was pretty sick. He went to the hospital. They told him go home, drink lots of Gatorade and take OTC ibuprofen or tylenol. He was miserable for four days. Then, on day 5, he was fine. That's the way our bodies are supposed to fight viruses. But, if we are already sick (and if you have diabetes or obesity, you are already sick), our bodies are unable to fight the viruses that contaminate our system.
Y'all, long term, masks aren't the answer. Lockdowns aren't the answer. Cancelling sports isn't the answer. Take care of yourselves. Encourage your family and loved ones to do the same. Our bodies truly are amazing things, if we just take care of them.

Considering the fact that Asian countries seem to be mostly immune, I always doubted it was novel. I bet this virus went through Asia when we were less globalist and never made it to Europe.

Obviously, obesity is a major factor. And there are plenty of people that are young and healthy and shake it off and move on. But, the problem with the virus is there are also young and healthy that don't shake it off and move on. Maybe less than 1% die (which is obviously a shame), but many get very very sick (a couple friends of mine fall in this boat). Some have also been developing other issues (27 year old healthy pitcher has heart problems now, for example), there are signs of decreased lung capacity (no one know if short or long term), and we really have zero clue about the long term ramifications of the virus.
Being a healhier society would obviously help a great deal. This isnt a forever thing, wearing a mask for a year or 2 isn't gonna hurt anyone.

If all we had to do was wear a mask, I think people would go along with that. This means everything opens up.
