Coaches and players just need to keep developing in preparation for making a run in the conference tournament.

People please just stop with the wiseman/ injury excuse! Every fkn team in the AAC would gladly switch rosters with Memphis even without JW and DJ. We lose because ARE PISS POORLY COACHED!!

Why? You lose your best player, that changes the whole dynamic of the season... Then your current second best player is hurt right in the middle of some close losses... Your stud guard who spurns Duke has played awful all season up until the last 4 games or so, and you lost your utility guy lest for a period of time early on... Has a coach in college this season dealt with this type of injuries scenario? Just curious.

This. Lomax will be the demise of Penny. Lomax provides nothing on offense he is essentially Andre Allen out there.

I said it after the Cincy game. When Lomax is in the game the offense immediately goes to crap because the ball will stick in his hands.

It really came down to FT's and TO's. ALO with 6 turns just can't happen. 11 from 18 from the line. I would like to see us run some offense but even without that it was TO's and FT's that beat us. It's awfully late in the season for those to be still so bad, particularly from our point guards. I don't see the ALO love, his stats don't bear it out. Let Boogie have most of those minutes.

Their 6'11" guy hurt us. Light weight bigs can't contain a 260 lb player who has skills. M.D. just not there yet.

Andre Allen would start every game on this team, and deserve it.

We had a few folks insult other posters after the last UConn win cuz of the statement that there hasn’t been much growth in the team. I still don’t see consistent offensive sets. There’s regression among individual players and the only player that has progressed IMO has been Boogie. We are on a 3 game losing streak and maybe most fans here do know the game of basketball and are willing to state what they see on the floor. The Penny firing comments are crap and too early but the team not developing and coaching being an issue thus far are valid comments.

Penny trying to hard to please hometown folks. He's really close to Alo and feels like he has to play through it, I suppose.

You are correct.

Precious is hustling like a mofo on every possession...he just needs to make a pass when he's triple-teamed. I know he feels like he has to carry the load, but he seems to be pressing a bit too much at times on the offensive end.

Not Precious fault his pg is limiting his game. Alo shouldn't be on the floor if he's a hindrance and is feeding into the opposition's game plan.

The pgs can't feed the post. Precious will get limited looks waiting on them. He must force the action when he has a chance.... scouts are watching and don't wanna hear Alo and Tyler didn't pass me the ball inside and missed me on easy looks.....

I said this before the season that if Alo was to get major minutes this team is in trouble and here we are...

Great. Every team has talent. At some point we need to realize we can't win on our name alone.
