RE: 2020 MLB Thread
Small consolation, but still nice to see Pache get a HR in the postseason.
Bryse Wilson tomorrow against who...Kershaw? This is gonna go 6 or 7 games, and Dodgers are already favored to win al least the next two after this one.

RE: 2020 MLB Thread
Asterisks don;t want to go quietly into that good night.
'coupla small runs in bottom of 9th, but at least Camargo gets a hit...might help him later on. 15-3 as Pache grounds out to mercifully end tonight's debacle.
I got no idea what Braves are gonna do to hold onto this thing right now. Have to get to game 6 to have a chance, barring a Dodgers collapse, which I'm not seeing happening here right now.
If I'm Dodgers and Roberts, I'm feeling like it's all going according to plan, and confident that they will be in WS as MLB and TV wants.
Fell bad for Wright, because as a new kid pitching here, it wasn't all his fault- his pitching coach and manager have to do a better job preparing him.
Now if I'm Mgr. Snitker, I start ripping some new ones after the game in a closed locker room and ask them what the heck were they thinking...although Snitker should take a good part of the blame for this one after doing the very same thing last year against the Cardinals.
And where the heck has Acuna been?

Dodgers know they can win this series, and Braves now should know they can lose it.
You are severely underestimating the amount of pressure Roberts and Kershaw are now under down 0-2. Not saying the Bravos can’t choke it away but the Dodgers are going to squeeze their bats into sawdust trying to even the series back up.
Dodgers were relaxed and loose from the first pitch and all night--they knew they had this. braves were tight and scared after last night's barely won game.
Braves are in a world of hurt. Dodgers are cruising with ease.

Here come Dodgers... Now it's 8-7 on a triple by Bellinger. And you thought Braves had this...nope...tying run 90 feet away.
0-2 and Kershaw's not likely for game 3. I like the Braves in 6.
Um, still? Not so much.
Dodgers can win by 30 its still only one game. Yah I still like the Braves in 6.
I'm a fan, and hurtin' right now, but seriously, can you tell me why the next two games will be any different for Braves after what we've seen last 12 innings? I mean, explain exactly who and how we are pitching over next two games (take a look at our pitching roster) and tell me why the Dodgers won't win the next two unless Dodgers decide to give them away to us?

Dusty with the gutsy move to leave Greinke in. Big move for the Astros. May not impact this series but it might improve their chances of keeping Greinke in another year.

Postseason Kershaw w/ back spasms not lasting past 5 innings, who could've seen this coming? Dodgers bullpen imploding, who could've seen this coming?

Another year, another Kershaw loss to some kid nobody had ever heard of. Last night was THE game. If the Braves had lost, the Dodgers would be going to the WS. Luckily, the Braves will likely be the team going. Thank God for Marcell Ozuna. Dying to see what kind of contract he gets

All those years (decades?) those analytics and sabremetricians spent mocking Dusty Baker like he’s some joke, yet here he is in the playoffs again with his 5th organization and contending for a World Series.

History made. 2nd team to comeback from a 3-0 deficit to force a game seven. Only other team to do it was the 04' Red Sox team of legends.

Give me a break. He managed them to a 29-31 record in a totally **** division. Correa and Altuve (who sucked during the season) get scorching hot and dusty is getting the credit for that? Stop trying to make it fit your narrative.

This Braves series is over. They've gotten lucky that the Dodgers are so incredibly inconsistent, but I'm betting this series is done. I spent the season shitting on the Braves pitching, but look at that lineup they're trotting out today. The 4-9 is hardly inspiring. Not to mention I don't believe in this Ozuna season at all.

Don't give up hope. Roberts might take Buehler out after 5 innings and let the bullpen blow the 3-run lead.
