I have been pleased with Penny's coaching based upon his first two seasons. Penny has his struggles, and there are things he needs to improve on. But with the experience he brought into Memphis, I think he has done a great job so far.

Having this team being so young adds frustration, yes. I do not want to, though, use the freshman excuse for everything that goes wrong.

We said from the beginning that this team will play teams close or lose to teams that they shouldn't, but the way a lot of us (including myself) react during the games does not reflect that sentiment. I think being ranked #9 in the country at one point wrecked our realistic expectations.

I think we will still lose two more games in this conference. I said it before, this team is built for next year more than it is for this year.
