Yeah, that didn't go well. It's why I usually don't get all revved up about recruiting, until they actually show up and play.

Apparently, Wiseman's move yesterday was a surprise to everybody, whether they thought it might happen, or not. Seems like Wiseman was inundated with agent offers after he was suspended, and he finally decided to take one.

Oh well, next up. Dandridge now becomes a bigger part of the mix, especially since Thomas and Maurice have been our weak spot at the 5, so far.

In the next few years, 5 and even 4-star HS players in greater numbers will enter the.NBA draft, or sign with a NBA G-league team. As the number of excellent HS players slowly diminishes, such will over a period of time, impact top college teams.

HS players will see that the pro style brand of basketball is so different than college ball, that it makes little sense for them to play college ball. College players will leave as well, as they don’t want to see younger HS players get a competitive advantage. Will be interesting to see if some college teams will change with the times and play more pro-like, in order to attract HS players.

I've said since last summer you guys would win the conference, both regular season and tourney. I see no reason to change that now. You'd have beaten us even with Wiseman.

I placed WSU #1 in the pre-season and now (regrettably for Tiger fans) it will be easy sailing for the Shockers.

No, you never said we were going to win the AAC. Just everyone else across the country. Who was and is the only team in the AAC that is ranked?

The Karma is you saying Memphis can't win with freshman and an inexperienced coach. Well how is that working out so far?

I'm not saying we're going to win the conference now, but nobody had higher odds to win it prior to all of this stuff with Wiseman.
