Obsessed with UConn much?
You are so easy to make fun of
Hate to say it, but if I'm a football prospect mulling offers from UConn and Princeton... I'm probably going the Ivy League route.
Why would you hate to say that? I would go to Princeton over any FBS school. The problem is Ivy Leagues don't provide athletic scholarships. Princeton is pretty expensive lol
You get an academic scholarship to play there

For the second year in a row, UConn Football's recruiting class is ranked below an FCS program (per 247). On top of that, Huskies currently have 20+ players in the NCAA Transfer Portal.
The transition to FCS is already underway.
Obsessed with UConn much?
I cannot help it. UConn football and their fan's delusional belief the AAC held them down is an everlasting spring of amusement.
Now that UConn surrendered , when do you expect to fold football or move to FCS? From an outsiders perspective, I think it will be within five years.

Interesting. So do they give all of their football offers "academic" scholarships or is it a few?

Not really recruiting, but Marquez Stevenson announced that he is returning to school next season. I figured he was leaving early, so this is like we got a new commit today. Lol

I read somewhere that the Tigers have the second best average AAC ranked class (behind Cincy).

Already heard he may have a player or two that may want to come to usf with him from Clemson. Obviously not starters, but probably solid players. He can also utilize the transfer portal like SMU did.

Nice! Way to go, G-Wave!
To be honest, I'm excited for Tulane fans. It's great to see football making a comeback.

How up to date does the 247 ranking list stay? Right now UMass is ranked directly behind Houston and a little a head of Temple. This will obviously change as time goes on, but just weird to see.
Granted this is what's being added to the talent that's already there so clearly this isn't me saying UMass is going to do better than, or anywhere near as good as, either of those teams.

I guess Temple is 2-0 versus us with last minute changes.
What’s the other?
I should have said last minute reversals instead of changes but I was talking about the catch

Salvage? From a recruiting rankings point of view, this is not going to be a good class. But even if CCS had stayed, I don't think it was going to be that good of a class.
I am not really looking to much at CCS's recruits.
Right now it seems Jeff Scott personally recruited:
WR Omarion Dollison South Carolina Gray Academy Small 3 star track guy
Oregon Xfer RB Darrien Felix Former 3 star out of Ft Myers. Another speed guy (3 years of eligibility, red-shirted last year due to injury so should be immediately eligible, played in 9 games for Oregon as a true freshman)
South Carolina Xfer RB Lavonte Valentine 3 Star Track guy out of Melbourne (Looks like he has 3 years of eligibility)
North Carolina Xfer QB Cade Fortin from Georgia, played in 4 games in 2018. Has 3 years of eligibility. High 3/low 4 star guy.
It also looks like to me that USF will sign in February, Dollison's QB Hunter Helms, 3 star from SC. He just got an offer and has a visit lined up in January.
In that small sample size, it appears Scott is going for Speed at the skill positions and accuracy from the QBs. We will see, I imagine we will know a lot more by February.
It will be above average for AAC by quality(average ranking) but not quantity(overall ranking).
Average ranking we are still 5th. That is above Tulane, ECU, Temple, ucf, Tulsa, Navy, and Uconn.
That is according to 247.
According to Rivals, we have the second best average ranking in conference.
Good to hear but why didn't they sign ? According to both sites you have 12 commitment but only 7 signed. Grades or just didn't want to sign yet?

Honestly, I think they are taking a wait and see approach with the new coach.
Also, we might not be 2nd average anymore on Rivals. I see they still have Miller Lewis as committed. He unfortunately decommitted a couple days ago but hasn't signed anywhere today.
