You would really hate them if you ever attend a game at Alico.

I’ve bought 20 tix so far for students driving up from Liberty for the game, my family coming in from Missouri, and my family already in Louisville.

I usually do a combination of three things when home, eat at Mark’s Feed Store, Impellizzeri’s Pizza, and Skyline Chili. Gotta admit, I have been back so infrequently over the last 5-10 years that I’m not sure if other great places to eat have opened up. I’m a product of The Highlands, so the Bardstown Rd. corridor is my stomping ground.
Any suggestions on places to eat in that area?
I went to school at Higland Middle School right beside the BU campus, and St. James on Bardstown Rd., then on to St. X. Grew up in the Highlands and lived within walking distance of BU. SIL lives right beside Lakeside.
Hittin’ the road after lunch today for the long drive east, and meet up with my kids and their friends making the long drive west. Thankfully, Louisville is exactly a halfway point between Ft. Leonard Wood and Liberty.

RE: RIVALRIES
Bellarmine played a strong game.
Liberty played a much stronger game!
Flames are ASUN Regular season Champions!
It was a lot of fun watching the game in historic Freedom Hall!
And it’s enjoyable to watch Bellarmine play. They are a great and entertaining team.
Scotty is in the ear of the refs from start to finish.

Glad you enjoyed it. You need to capitalize Historic now, I think it was made part of the name now! Actually, thought Scotty was somewhat subdued for him, considering how awful the officiating was in that game. Definitely not saying that is why BU lost, Liberty was clearly the better team, but those officials just stunk up the place. It was the worst officiated game that I have seen all year. Scotty is always in the face of the refs, even when winning by 25. I am amazed that he did not get thrown out with the way the officials were calling it.

I mean, Liberty took only 11 free throws (making 9) compared to 24 free throw attempts by Bellarmine. The number of fouls were even (17 of LU to 16 of BU) but many of Bellarmine's were late in the game to get Liberty to shoot free throws which inflated Liberty's number to still less than half of Bellarmine's. Refereeing is more than just fouls and free throws but I don't think it's nearly as one-sided as you claim.

RE: RIVALRIES
He never said it was one sided, only poorly officiated. I didn’t think the officials did a bad job. I thought there were several missed traveling calls, but those refs are on the court and have replay, so I will defer to their judgement and expertise. As long as they call it even for both teams, good or bad, that’s all that matters.

It is heavily implied by the context of what was written that the refs significantly and negatively effected Bellarmine. He also didn't say the refs were poor on both sides. If someone is complaining about refs, it generally is a complaint against the treatment of their team, not both.

RE: RIVALRIES
As the athletic and school year draw to a close, any rivalries you see forming after another year to percolate?
