IMO, our SoS is strong enough at this point that as long as we make it to the CCG and win, we are guaranteed a Cotton Bowl appearance.
If we win out we are in the NY6 bowl game. Just have to focus on winning out. There is no chance a 1 loss Cincinnati team wouldn’t get the nod. I felt that way before Boise State and App State lost and now there is no doubt.
It will be interesting to see the CFP rankings this week and see where they have everyone since that’s what it’s based off of.
I would love for that to happen and the CCG game to be at Nip. I think it would be better than the Pitt game when we got the Orange bowl locked up back in 2008.

UH is redshirting this half against UCF, so that they can play 2 complete halves against them next year.

And for all the people that bet the over of 72.5 in that game. You just may have got COOGED. 29 to 42 with 1:42 left. Houston went for 2 with the last score and did not make it. Houston has the ball again.
OOPS sorry UCF pulled it out for you. 44 to 29.

That's why I think I'm rooting against Memphis, because SMU and Navy would give a much easier path to a conference championship.
When Boise and App St were undefeated I thought there might be pressure to give them the spot despite how much stronger the American is. With both of them losing I don't see the same pressure, I'm pretty certain a 2 loss American champ would get the NY6 game

You can argue about whether Fromm or Fields should have been QB1 at GA but it's starting to be pretty clear why Eason was third choice.

I legitimately dont think there is a single good team in the Pac 12. The best non conference win by the entire conference is probably Arizona State beating 4-4 Michigan State.

Nice to have Army vs Air Force in the game before us on CBS Sports Network. With their ground games no worry about it running long barring an overtime.
Justin Williams of The Athletic says to expect to see a little more of Blue Smith tonight.

UCLA up on Colorado 17-7 at the half. If the Bruins pull this out they move up to 4-5 and second in the PAC12 South.
