Do we collectively owe an apology to panama?
So many of us a few years ago told him Georgia St couldn’t make it at this level. Now they’re taking down bluebloods.

No. But congratulations none the less. The biggest net effect of this game will be significantly reducing the shelf life of HC JP.

I wouldn't call Tennessee a blueblood any more than I would call Washington a blueblood. That is not at all.

No. Tennessee looked bad. We don't know how good Georgia St. is this year.

We really should have scheduled GT to a 1:1 BEFORE beating Tennessee with a stick.

No chance that ever happens now.

Nothing is more baffling than why Mike Leach is not the HC in Knoxville.

Eh. They’re mediocre. Average. Awful is going 2-10 and being picked last in your conference. Or so we thought!

Vols are a .500 program since 2008. The 20 years before that they were definitely a top 10 program.

Tennessee isn't blue blood, but they're in the top half of P5, and GA St was crap last year. No one saw this coming. Anyone who says UT just isn't good, I'll echo Panama's lol.

Georgia State doesn't deserve a 1:1 with a P5. And there's no chance of GT passing on Bobby Dodd Stadium and then passing on Mercedes Benz Stadium and deciding it's perfectly acceptable to instead play in a baseball stadium with baseball sight lines and baseball seating and insufficient seating for even just GT. No opponent Georgia State plays will change that. You got some 2 for 1 home games in hoops. Even against terrible Paul Hewitt teams. You could never capitalize.

Who is "so many of us?" A few posters talking smack? Like that's never happened on here before.

Seriously though, it was a great win for Georgia St but who else have they beaten with a pulse? Not any P5 teams that I'm aware of.

I don’t think it matters. Panama and the other GaSt faithful are flying high today regardless. Congrats guys.

Yep. Apologies or no apologies; August 31, 2019, will forever be the day panama defeated CSNbbs realignmentologists. Georgia St is the talk of college football this week.
