Others have point this out but our DB is very very good but we had only one sack yesterday and without effective pressure our DBs will be in for a long season. Our offensive line stat wise did great with allowing only one sack but in part that is deceiving because of Glass III mobility. The one stat that did concern me was that Coastal had 6 tackles for losses. It appears the defensive line and offensive line are very much works in progress.

Agree.

I have been saying for months that we'll miss Crosby, Harris and Rachwal more than we can imagine.

That is too much to replace in one off season.

I think our DBs are good but our DL made them look better than they would have been with an average DL.

Digging through the box score, I found an interesting stat. Coastal Carolina's longest rush: 7 yards. That's it. Total of 74 yards rushing on 30 attempts.

I hate to be redundant, but remember Eastern had last year's tape to look at, and that could make a big difference in trying to set a defense against your opponent. Yes, teams can still run plays that one has not seen, so you can still have difficulties in that regard.

I forgot the details but CC is almost a complete rebuild this year.

I honestly didn't pay any attention to where their returning starters are.
