When I was in college (early 2000s), my roommate was on a trip with his rowing team. The van got a flat, and not a single other person knew how to change the tire. They were all trying to figure out the number for AAA. My roommate was ticked off: 9 college-age "men" and he's the only one who knows how to change a tire.
To be fair: Technology has improved and people get flat tires less often these days. And you can usually drive several miles after getting a flat. So it's not as essential of a skill as it used to be.
I wouldn't know how to do it either, except my Dad made it a condition of getting my license: he wouldn't let me take the state driver's test until I demonstrated that I could change a tire.
most cars do not use run-flat tires. So no, people aren't getting less flat tires today than used to, and you cannot drive several miles on a flat tire. You can on run flat tires, but that's a very small percentage of vehicles.
I would say I am changing out a flat with a donut on average of at least once per year... and I drive on some decently maintained roads. When I lived in Norfolk and had to do the pothole slalom to get to work everyday, it was 3-4 times per year. What a waste of money to get a tow for that. It's a simple task. These pusssies are worried about getting their manicured hands dirty and breaking a nail. It is no wonder they can't get out of mom's basement.

He's not the hero the left needs, he's the hero the left deserves.

Read the manual. Or if you are a millenial, look it up on your phone.
The biggest challenge these days is getting the tools or the spare. The steps to get the spare down in a Suburban are pretty ridiculous.
There's youtube that'll show you everything..
I know on my 2010 Silverado to get the tire down was a pain due to lining up one tool into this part and that part..
Yes and after a time, the tube or the 3 link tool expands or contracts and it gets really difficult.
My problem was I got rear ended twice in 6 months (non driving Alabama f*cks with no insurance) and the tube got disconnected.. I tried to lower my tire one week before vacation because a kitten got stuck in it.. Thank goodness it did..

You do? (Get that)
I wouldn’t let either of my kids pull out of the driveway for Drivers Ed before first knowing where the hazard blinkers were, how to use jumpers cables correctly and each of them rolled around on a hot asphalt driveway setting up a jack and changing the tire, lowering it, then putting it back up and changing again.
RE: Beto trying to hurt someone with his vehicle again.
Can anyone imagine Trump trying to change a flat?
I would imagine the only folks running for president right now who could change a flat and look competent doing so would be Tulsi, Pete, Delaney, and maybe Biden.

I'd love to see Trump find and purchase chicken at a grocery store. I bet he's never stepped in foot a grocery store to actually buy something for himself.

Highly doubt Trump could (and he certainly wouldn't lower himself to try when he could make someone else), but then he also didn't post something this dumb for all to see. Just a silly error from a desperate campaign.

But Trump isn’t the idiot like your hero and attempt to do it. Plus he’s never put himself out there as the everyday man who’s not a millionaire. Man y’all are dense.
