As bad as some schools are, all IA schools fully fund their programs, something you can't say about IAA. No way does Rhode Island fully fund their program and I would add Maine into that also. Sure Maine has a good season ever so often and a 10 win season every 10-12 years but that doesn't mean they fund everything properly.

I would say about 40% of IAA football programs are under funded and some like VMI, Morehead State, Presbyterian, Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb and Jacksonville shouldn't even be allowed to field a IAA team. These schools either deemphasized football or athletics long ago or never fully funded them in the 1st place.

Enjoy the CAA for years to come.

Which made your performance against them last year even less impressive.
