I would stick with the 23rd. Beyond the 3rd pick it's a crapshoot. Maybe we get a better pick from Utah next year that we have to convey to Boston.

With all the protections on it we likely won't even get that pick into 2022

I don't think either Bol or Jerome will be around then but if they are either works. We could take Grant Williams or Jordan Bone too. That would force UTK fans to root for a Memphis team.

At 23 I think you take best-available. I'd refrain from looking for a certain position. Might be able to get a serviceable Center like PJ Washington, Brandon Clark or one of the Euro League guys like Bitadze.

Late 1st seems to be a decent place to get a shooter too. Maybe the UNC kid Cameron Johnson, Thybulle. A lot of high ceiling guys who prob aren't lioghtning-in-a-bottle but could be solid starters for years to come. I just hope we don't take a steady, low ceiling guy like Grant Williams.

Yeah and athletic enough to defend at the next level. I have troub;e seeing him still on the board at 23. He doesn't have any question marks if used as a roll player. Great shooter, great defender. There's a spot for that guy in today's NBA. He's not going to drive and create but we'll have Ja and run sets.
