Yep. Maybe some local media will realize that it doesn't matter if you go to Kansas - the NBA doesn't care. So the Dedric national player of the year, 1st team All American, possible lottery pick after a year at Kansas winning their 15th consecutive Big 12 narrative dies.

Playing one season at KU doesnt make you jump 8 inches higher unfortunately.
