I like Keldon Johnson if he's still available.

yep, and he can kill it from 3

Yeah and athletic enough to defend at the next level. I have troub;e seeing him still on the board at 23. He doesn't have any question marks if used as a roll player. Great shooter, great defender. There's a spot for that guy in today's NBA. He's not going to drive and create but we'll have Ja and run sets.

KJ will be gone 14-16 if not higher.

That's what all the drafts indicate. I'd be surprised if he's still available at 23. There tend to be fewer surprises IMO during the NBA draft 1st Rd (compared to NFL 1st rd). But it would be sweet if someone fell in our lap.

With a late 1st round pick, you have to be pretty flexible. Have your board settled going in and take the best player on your board remaining. That's kinda "duh" on the surface, but some go after a position. i.e. We're drafting the best shooter available and they miss on 2 great big men. Or like Chris Wallace: go after a big man at all costs and miss out on franchise changing guards/forwards. There are quite a few players in the late first round that could be staples for our team for years to come. I think our roster has a lot of needs and can afford to be flexible.

Truthfully, I'm not against trading either - depending on what we can get for the pick. I don't want to move up in 2019 draft. Most of the 1st rd is pretty even IMO. Next year has more to offer in the middle round, i think. If I trade, I'm looking for 2020 picks. And I'm keeping Ja. I think he's a game changer. Also keeping JJJ. Beyond that. Let's GAAAAAMBLE!

I'd attempt to trade up and snag Tyler Herro. If not Ty Jerome is the guy. Or Cameron Johnson.

I"m not touching either of the Gonzaga bigs. Clarke has zero offensive game and Rui has bust potential

Someone always falls....
I’m hoping for Bol, but it could be Langford, NAW, Goga, Porter Jr., or Cam Johnson and I’d be happy

Give me Cam Johnson of UNC. Best shooter in the draft, 6'9". I like guys who can put the ball in the hole, and Cam flat gets that done.

RE: With the 23rd pick in the NBA draft the Grizzlies select...
Here are the players I would take in this order with the 23rd pick if still available:

1. Nickeil Alexander-Walker - SG with excellent shooting/scoring ability
2. Bruno Fernando - C with great size and very athletic, very explosive and dunks galore
3. Cameron Johnson - SG Best shooter in draft most likely with great size
4. Dylan Windler - SF Can fill it up from three with consistency...maybe next Kyle Korver

Players to stay away from:

1. Romeo Langford - Inconsistent, struggles shooting, no pit-bull in him
2. Bol Bol - May have a few good years, but his legs/feet will give him problems and limit his career
3. Matisse Thybulle - no offensive game...Tony Wroten 2.0
4. Ty Jerome - Not the worse choice, but I don't think he is athletic or quick enough to be a starter in the NBA

Vernon the other day mentioned he heard that Cam Johnson might get medical red flagged. At 23 that's not a good thing.

Give me Ty Jerome. 39% shooter from 3. Don't need him to be athletic. Joe Harris isn't super athletic and he's a starter.

Yeah, he's getting a lot of good press lately which might move him up.

(Hate to say it) Brian Williams (I think) will be a serviceable NBA level bench guy for years.

I don't think either Bol or Jerome will be around then but if they are either works. We could take Grant Williams or Jordan Bone too. That would force UTK fans to root for a Memphis team.

Yeah, that's a great reason to draft someone.

23rd pick is a crap shoot anyway. I do think Bone probably has some potential. It was a bit of a joke BTW, knucklehead.

Yeah, an undersized PF. A few have done well like Milsap but he was a really good rebounder. Williams is just so-so on rebounding.

Ty Jerome if he's there. Also wouldn't mind to package the pick with either Korver or Crowder and move up to get Herro
