I never noticed, looked at the the dog head on. But it looks like the dog is wearing glasses w/o arms like Morpheus. Or perhaps some sort of Angry Birds spin-off with the unibrow.
As much as I thought for the negative posters on "pig dog" to get over it, it is pretty awful from all angles.

Maybe the PHB set a deadline for the dog to get completed and of course it wasn't realistic.

I'm grateful for the gesture/gift/ of the PigDog, not hitting a gift horse in the mouth....but, I wish Toledo would come take it.

Brilliant idea MileHighHuskie, a new trophy game. Only in this game, the loser has to take home the trophy.

RE: QB transfer from Cal
Not knowing the mental makeup of NIU, I hope there is not a situation where you get two camps of players, a Bowers camp and a Childers camp. Despite Childers struggling at times, he was the QB at the helm of a MAC championship, so a change at that position may be a harder sell to players. Hopefully players can rise above this, and just let things play out how they are going to play out, and accept whoever the starter ends up being.

If one guy is clearly better than the other there will be zero issue. If it’s dead even I could see some guys maybe preferring one to the other, but not to the point of distraction. The only thing I could imagine is the WRs being mad if the “lessor” passer was named starter.

Any information on Bowers? Any tweets from players on how he throws? I am interested to hear how much better his arm is compared to Childers.

Can't believe that Riley Neal going to Vanderbilt is of more import than Bowers to NIU.

Great pick up for NW. Thorson gone and this kid will be a good fall back.

He was a pro style QB at a Pac 10 school. His arm has to be better but just by how much. If it is worse that this is a ****** pick up.

QB transfer from Cal
Arm strength is one thing. But he also has to hit his receivers, especially in stride. Childers was lacking in that regard.

His arm is below average in accuracy and strength.

Posted on the NIU Huskies Fanatics Facebook Group (not by me):
Someone on Facebook Wrote:From a player that I will remain anonymous that I spoke to earlier today about the Cal transfer Ross Bowers..."That kid has an absolute cannon, I've never seen an arm like that before. He's also a natural born leader"
Not exactly unbiased or objective but at least it's positive.
