Weird hearing the 2nd game going on.

Or what sounds like other stuff going on like music.

LaTech has a large fan base at the tournament. Was hoping to get FAU.

I'd rather play in front of an opposing crowd than no crowd. We just need to blow them out and shut the crowd up early.

Yeah we don't want none of Marshall. Granted that was against a not good rice team but still. They could've scored 100 if they hadn't let off the gas with like 6-7 minutes left

LaTech rode the starters hard, only got 7 points from a short bench.

True, but now they're loose... and we have 2nd-half BJ!

People get too concerned with players being “tired” in these tourneys. These 19 year old kids can handle a couple 40 min games in a row. L

The missed tip-back almost won it for them too after the missed FT, exciting ending unless you are an FAU fan.

RE: CUSA Tournament Thread
La Tech's crowd tonight will be even bigger. Should be interesting to see how that goes. If someone here is there, take some pictures! Would be interesting to see what it actually looks like.

North Texas demolished FIU. I wonder if they are back at full strength or if they only care about the tournament. Perhaps FIU had the jitters. I didn't see too much of that game.

UAB put MT's sad season out of its misery. UAB was in control most of the game, MT made it almost interesting late but it was too little too late.

I didn't see too much of the Marshall game, just saw they were destroying Rice. Rice looked like a team who forgot that it was a tournament. Marshall got exactly what they hoped for, an easy first victory so they could cruise. Elmore only had to play 28 minutes.

Ezikpe been hurt so I give him some slack. But Kithcart has been MIA,. Wade hasn't been horrible but I think it hurts his game that he's only a driver. He has no jumpshot and doesn't even attempt them in game , so what he's gonna do is becoming really predictable. They just leave him open daring him to shoot. I havent paid attention to Dickens to see what he's doing or not.

Not to be Punny but X has to be that X factor.

Also, Robinson need to play more. Get the ball inside. I've seen glimpse where he has the ability to take over games. If FAU wins we gonna need that inside presence against them.

Kithcart hasn't been missing, you can find him on the bench.

You know what I mean though. When he has been out there he hasn't done much of anything. Gotta take advantage of the time you get

The last two games...
UAB - Played only 5 minutes. 1/1 fg - 1/1 3pt - 3pts
USM - Played 18 minutes. 4/7 fg - 3/6 3pt - 3 assists - 1 steal - 1 block - 11 pts (tied for leading scorer). Probably had the best game of anyone on the team, but sat on the bench for the last 12 minutes aside from a brief stretch late.

Agree, fatigue will not set in for game 2. The fact that they had to come from behind and grind out an emotional, physical game may help us, but I don't see them being physically fatigued.

Kith can be reckless with the ball, which is probably why he sits, but when the problem is scoring and low energy, he needs to come in.

He also had 1 turnover in those two games. 23 minutes - 1 TO is not a problem. On the season he is averaging 1.6 TOs per 40 minutes, also pretty darn good. Let's face it, JJ always has some explosive offensive player inexplicably living in the dog house... This year's victim is Kitchcart.

That is the frustrating part for fans and not knowing why. When you see a stat line like that and you understand defense wins championships but nobody else is raining in buckets you pull the spark plug on 1 of the cylinders? It seems to not make sense.
