They have been a lock for weeks. Conf should have 4 teams in easily. Let get these last 2.
If Temple or Memphis get in, then the bubble is even weaker than I thought with their current resumes. Temple beat Houston at home aaaaaaaaaand that's pretty much the extent of their resume. Memphis doesn't even have that. We have 3 locks. 4 would be a stretch assuming Temple doesn't come up with a big W the rest of the way.
College bball across the board is down this year. If IU is still in the conversation, no reason Temple should not be. Unless, Temple really blows some games, they should be in. Memphis is another story. I do not think they will be in, unless the win the Conf Trny.
The media likes to talk up the raw number of quadrant one wins and tout a team like Indiana's chances when they pick up one. Hopefully that is just one tool the committee uses. Indiana just is bound to pick up a few with the number of opportunities they have this year. Looking deeper Indiana is 7-14 against QI and Q2; comparing that to Temple their record is 6-7 and UCF is 7-5.(We are currently 10-3)
Update: We moved up to #21 in Net Rankings released today.

While not all Q1 wins are the same, winning percentage is very important. Most average teams will win around 1/3 of thier games against good teams.

Once again, UC not doing its part to help the American.
Memphis has 4 true road/neutral road wins. Canisius, Tulane, Wichita, and ECU. Wichita is 101st in KenPom and the highest ranked road win.
Even with a UC win, it's a very mediocre resume with some bad losses.
For RPI ratings, Wichita is the only 'Quadrant 1' victory and they're currently on the bubble of Q1 in 73rd.
