I think I read that Temple got $6.5 million from the buyout of the two coaches over the last month. Same article said the NIU buyout is $300K. AAC schools have far more resources than NIU and it’s not even close.

$8.5M between Rhule, Collins, and Diaz, and the ability to pay $3M a year for a HC.

Yeah, I’m not upset about losing them at all haha. Hope the entire offensive staff goes, honestly. Wouldn’t mind seeing Knowles, Stewart, and Rice stay on defense.

Who's the QB? We have a true freshman (redshirting) and an incoming freshman from SC and NC. I think we're probably set at QB for a while.

I hope we keep rice. My guess is he is one of the better recruiters being younger and playing at NIU

As somebody who has spent the last two days searching Rod Carey on Twitter, believe me when I tell you nobody gives a **** about Temple’s coaching search.

It's crazy to think that by the end of the school year we may change out Hot Rod for Kane or Canada. It all hinges on the decision of a guy in Philadelphia. Can someone please send him some deep dish pizza, Eli's cheesecake, and Carson's ribs to bribe him or something?

We may actually see civility for a period of time, because I think everyone would be excited to see Canada or Kane set up shop in DeKalb. For once, the pro and anti Carey camps could unite and become pro NIU for at least a little while.

Watch, though, if Carey goes we'll promote Coach U.
