Congratulations Marshall 04-cheers04-cheers04-cheers You guys are absolutely unbelievable in Bowl season 12-3 overall, two of those defeats by 7pts or less, 12-1 in the last 20 years, 8 Bowl wins in a row, Doc Holliday 6-0 in Bowl games 04-bow04-bow04-bow04-bow04-bow

No team straps it up and shows up focused and with a chip on their shoulder more than Marshall for a Bowl game

USF was a bowl team that shouldn't have been a bowl team. That 7-0 start included 3 last second wins against Tulsa, ECU, and UConn. All teams with losing records. USF really should have ended the year 4-8.

That we can agree. A lot of AAC teams suck.

Congrats Marshall on owning USF on the FB field. The ESPN announcers were pro Marshall the entire game.

I don't toot our horn a lot but we are money when playing a bowl game. We are a tough team this time of the year.
Kids played great. Our players tweeted that USF players were calling us a High School team the whole week. If that's the case, the Bulls must be a Tampa Midget League E Team. lol!

Good luck to the rest of our league brethren in their bowl games.

I am surprised about the lack of advertisement for Bad Boy Mowers during the game. I would have liked to have gotten a look at one.

Literally nothing about my post is controversial. USF's schedule was front-loaded with the easier teams and they barely escaped 3 times to go 7-0. Beat up on GT and Illinois.

They then had to face the much tougher and better AAC teams in 2nd half of the year and they got hammered in every game.

Nice Hyperbole. We aren't asking to win it every year or every other year. But I think more than once in ten years is not too much to ask. And I think winning the division more than twice in 10 years is not too much to ask.

So you hope if we change coaches that the Herd only wins 2-3 games a year. Nice to know your spite completely outweighs your desire to see Marshall succeed against anyone except those on the bottom 20 list of FBS football. Position noted.

PS we already have a 3 win season with Doc. He's done that as often as he's won the conference. Suck on that statistic.
BTW, I was referring to Snyder when mentioning 3, 4, 5 win seasons, alot of herd fans have forgotten about that crap. Doc goes 5-7, 7-6, 5-7, 10-3, 14-1, 10-3, 3-9, 8-5, and this year with a chance for 9 wins. Numbers don't matter though, can him, get another Snyder, that's exactly what would happen.

Snyder would mop the floor with Doc's record against the same competition. Snyder coached against basically the AAC and much tougher P5 OOC. Snyder had sanctions to deal with the first few years of his career here, rebuilding us to 85 scholarships. Neither one knows how to coach but at least Snyder had been a coordinator. Other than Cato's junior and senior year we've been mediocre against the bottom of FBS football and lost to anyone better than that unless it was in a meaningless bowl. Doc is a fraud.

You are Drunk now go back to bed. THANK GOD YOU HAVE NO POWER AT MARSHALL. We would be shutting down athletics right about now if you did.

And if you don't like it go root for the Ugly Blew and Piss Yeller.... Or better yet root for the team across the river in Morehead State (A team that has won 38 games in the last 10 years with 1 winning season at 7-4).

How was Blake Barnett ever rated a 5 star #1 Pro Pocket QB in the nation. No wonder Sabin told him to kick rocks after 1 year. I can see why USF is his 3rd program in 3 years.

Marshall also pushed around both of USFs lines with ease. Brown, Dowery, Madden, Ulmer and Adams pushed the DLine of USF around all game and gave Davis, Knox, Anderson and even Green massive holes to run in.

The Marshall DLine also gave Green all day to throw the ball. They only allowed USF 92 yards rushing when USF had 8 100 yard rushers during the season, both Knox and Davis had more rushing yards alone. The defense also didn't give up a sack and Green only had pressure put on him 4 times.

Yet you had to come to the CUSA board to say it. It's just funny every time a CUSA team beats an AAC team, here come the fans of the other AAC teams disparaging the team that lost.
