Charleston lost 67-55 to LSU. Riller went 2-10, with 0-5 from beyond the arc. Need to bottle that.

RE: MBB - CAA and OOC Teams
Going to see Northeastern's rematch with Davidson this afternoon. I went to the JMU game at UNCC a week ago.

JMU almost blew a big lead, but hung on for the win. Hard to say what that means for JMU, UNCC is agonizing to watch right now. With the emphasis the new coach puts on defense, the Niners remind me of the old UNCW teams. The Longwood game this week was first team to 40 wins. Seriously, it was 19-15 Longwood at the half.

Good luck to the Tribe today against St. Joe's. I see St. Joe's regularly now since Davidson is in the A-10. I still can't get used to the recent reshuffling of conference members.

Go Tribe!

RE: MBB - CAA and OOC Teams
Rough week for the CAA, but it is looking fairly wide open, which will work well for us if the freshmen continue to develop.

5-12 against D-I teams with losses to UC Riverside, blow out to UNCG, Oakland, Abilene Christian, Citadel, Radford, North Dakota State, etc.

Need to bounce back this week with a good slate of games to try to recover (St. Joe's, VCU, Davidson, etc.).

Man, that is a "Murderer's Row" of ugly losses...

It was announced Sherrod is out for the season with a torn ACL. Tough news. They say he is eligible for a medical redshirt.

Delaware with a nice 75-71 win tonight against a solid La Tech team. They will be a surprise come league play, as they don't even have Ryan Allen back yet.

Also, their starting point guard (Gilyard) is out with a groin injury. They were basically defenseless, even against Hampton (who does have a couple good players) and played a walk-on at guard for 24 minutes. This could be it for Mooney.

Pusica out 4-6 weeks for Northeastern with confirmed broken wrist. Occeus expected back for practice and play for the first time this season in two weeks after ankle injury. Boursiquot still out indefinitely with a hip injury. Almost wish the first conference game with them on Jan. 12th was in Boston, instead of the 'Burg, to take advantage of their injury issues.

4-6 weeks is a very aggressive recovery period if it is his shooting hand.

In a game of 2 upcoming Tribe opponents, ODU blasts JMU 67-42 to complete a terrible Saturday for the Dukes.

At least ODU will be their usual overconfident selves going into Wednesday.
