Too many games on to watch.

Some early observations:

CofC using a lot of players and lack cohesiveness. Struggling with Presbyterian at home. Absolutely horrendous choice in home unis, gray with burgundy "College" in cursive, with no Charleston. What are they thinking!!

Towson with all new faces and yet still playing physical, strong on boards game. UVA handling them, but Towson hanging. Towson may surprise come CAA play.

JMU dominating Eastern Mennonite, as expected.

UNCW in back and forth game at rival Campbell. Freshman PG Toews (who we looked at but bypassed for Thornton Scott) reminds me of David Cohn. Expect as he goes, so will UNCW. Remains to be seen if he can play at a consistent level the full season as a freshman.

Notre Dame does not look overwhelming and yet dominating a bad UIC.

I have great appreciation for how bright and large old Kaplan looks on TV tonight. The court looks great. CofC, JMU, Davidson all look small, dark, and their courts look old.

Northeastern and Boston U are in a tussle. Pisica looks to be carrying the Huskies.

JMU has one of the easiest OOC schedules I've seen. Blah

Towson loses 73-42 and does not rack up a single assist.

Plus missed a boat load of FT's. Put'em on the line.

George Mason lost at home to preseason Ivy #2 Penn. Nothing impressive.

UNCW loses in OT to Campbell.

Northeastern (no Shawn Occeus) with a bad loss at home to Boston U (6 freshmen played.)

Not a good night for the CAA to start.

Definitely not what we wanted for the league.
Delaware kept it close against Maryland.

It’s also pretty surreal to be watching Greg Malinowski playing for Georgetown on tv right now.

I get why most everybody is saying that ....but on the other hand, the more these traditionally-thorn-in-our-side teams stink and lose, the better it will be for us come conference time. Who cares about the strength of the league when you are the automatic qualifier?! (we will get stuck with playing UNC no matter what the CAA's rank is).

Really? Greg actually played? I didn't see that coming unless he came in for garbage time.

Huh, 7 pts, 4 rebs, and perfect from the FT line. Looks like he hit one of three from the arc and sank 4 FTs toward the end of the game.

Malinowski is their sharp shooter off the bench. Will be a key rotation player this year. I guess he figured that it's better to come off the bench there than come off the bench on our team.
I always liked Makinowski and think he would have contributed here. That said, looking at the current roster, I'm hard pressed to find a guard that I'd rather Greg play over. The current guards are more dynamic and do so much more than 3pt snipe.
I am a little surprised he's getting playing time for Georgetown, but I wish him the best. Honestly wasn't a huge hit for us when he left, though it did seem to come out of the blue
Georgetown isn’t the team they used to be. Ewing is rebuilding.

Just remember that he would have been a senior last season and not this year. He was behind Burchfield and Milon

Georgetown played UM Eastern Shore...predicted finish second to last in the MEAC.

He didnt start. He went 1-3, all 3-pointers.

Will see how much he actually plays against a tougher opponent.

Edit: Mac McClung started for Georgetown

Now Mac McClung I'd take in a heartbeat...

Greg is there to boost the team's average GPA and hit free throws at the end of games.

I'm tempted to subscribe to espn+ for the month. Lots of fun ooc games to tune into. Seems like a pretty good deal. Are replay games available or is it only live streaming?

Tuning into caa TV to watch other team's broadcasts it is very easy to see that the tribe broadcast is lightyears ahead of other schools. Video quality, Camera angles, on screen graphics, & commentary are very professional. Looks closer to espn quality in comparison to our peers.
Credit to the Tar Heels for playing the big guest for Elon's new arena opening tonight.

It was UNC that also visited Williamsburg back in 1970 for the first game at a brand spanking new W&M Hall.
