Thankfully the rest of their fanbase seems to know more about football and doesn't continually try to justify getting killed as if it was smoke and mirrors

What year was that when FAU won that game anyway? All I know is, it's OLD NEWS. 03-lmfao

Did you miss the part where he is the one always bringing it up? It's beyond stupid but he continually likes to dwell on getting crushed and trying to justify it. Even after a win!

Eh just make a witty comment and ignore it. Standard procedure.

I said it before that FAU run last year was due to coaching and Driskel. Their defense was never that good. It is amazing what coaching (Briles) can do for a lesser talented team like FAU.

I agree Dawgxas. A lot of smoke and mirrors last year with FAU.

Yea, no I know you want to tell yourself that but that’s crazy.
You don’t dominate like that on “smoke and mirrors”.

Again we have 5 new assistant coaches the SPC and OC are first time
full FBS coaches. Throw in a youn QB and it hasn’t been smooth.

LA Tech is 6-2 and fought tooth and nail to beat a wounded team that was trying to give it away at every turn.
You said FAU D was bad all year and yet you avg 2.8 a carry and 52 percent completion percentage.

Tech is not particularly good, especially on offense. We're sorry for winning last night. We really weren't trying to.

Yep Trick plays and hurry-up will only get you so far especially with a less talented defense.

Our offense hasn’t put up 400 yards since the 3rd game against LSU. We aren’t trotting out the 2016 offense.

Louisville being humbled this year. They now sit at 2-7 with their only wins being Indiana State 31-7 and WKU 20-17. Gary Patterson not doing that well at TCU either this year, they are 3-5 and just got beat by Kansas yesterday.

Oof that's bad just about any year, but it could be worse. The game could have been preserved in a major motion picture. (Tech vs Kansas was the game in the background of Man of Steel as Zod's ship appeared)

Let me know when they get kicked out of the ACC.

It is amazing what Briles has done with Houston, offensive scheme can win a G5 league even with lesser talent. Of course FAU had Driskel last year as QB.

It has came to fuition what I predicted in the preseason that FAU would take step back
