Sure looked like a bad spot for FAU...wonder if Holtz would have gone for it on 4th and a half yard.

How abysmally stupid does the FAU defense have to be?

Good game LaTech. Tough win on the road and you’re still in the division race.

That's on coaches. Don't they practice? Don't they explain things to the players?

Lol geez. How does the FAU special teams player not know the rules. Just gave LT the game.

Good point, but still. A player should know that at this level.

I mean it was gonna be a hard win anyway, they would have to get the TD and get the 2 pt conversion to make it a tie game, but dumb penalties like the 2 special teams ones REALLY don't help.

First the two #5s on the punt
Now the jumping over the wall

And, remember the running into the punter early, which, luckily, did not cause a first down...

This is sad. We're just finding ways to lose.

Singletary, Rainey, Dixon, Fenroy, Dunbar.

That's my list.

Jordan Howard? Aaron Jones?

Aaron Jones is perhaps forgettable as MT didn't play UTEP when he was there and Jordan Howard having played only 2 years at UAB doesn't help his case.

Dixon-802 carries, 4,483 yards, 72 TDs
Fenroy-808 carries, 4,646 yards, 48 TDs
Dunbar-782 carries, 4,224 yards, 41 TDs
Rainey-888 carries, 4,523 yards, 35 TDs
Jones-648 carries, 4,114 yards, 33 TDs
Howard-647 carries, 3,681 yards, 24 TDs

Okay. You’re going with best career stats...not best player

All I said was they were the best running backs amongst MT conference mates, what any of them do at the next level is irrelevant. I mean I wouldn't count Tom Brady as one of the all time great Big Ten quarterbacks.

Jones and Howard are both slighted by not playing four healthy seasons, though I'm not sure I'd put either of them over Dixon even still.

If Singletary returns next year, he could leave them all in the dust.

As far as the run defense is concerned, at least so far, yep. Not that impressive. Pass defense is a whole different animal.

Iwas wrong

Tech’s Defense is why Tech has wins, definitely not our offense

You're probably right, but I don't know a lot about the '19 RB class or where Motor would figure in that mix.

As with any underclassman, I just hope he gets good info and makes the right decision for him and his situation.

Wow. That's what C-LATech feels like. No way we converted on that 4th down.

Glad to get the win.

I wasn’t taking a shot at you. It was simply an observation early in the game. I even said it looked like Tech made adjustments. Good coaching by Skip after halftime and good win for you all. 04-cheers
