No, they don't want Trump to meet with Mueller because they don't trust Mueller to conduct such a meeting in an ethical manner.
If I were Trump's lawyer, I would strongly discourage such a meeting except under controlled circumstances, such as Hillary's meeting with Comey.
People say if you are innocent, you should not fear the truth. As long as the prosecutor leaves ethically, no worries. But this investigation has not been conducted ethically, so why should one expect them to start doing so now?
Don't buy that. A Republican with a stellar record and bipartisan support is somehow going to suddenly go rogue and shirk all ethical duty after what... 30 years of public service? Where's the justification?

He not going to go, he has already gone. He's actively participating in a coup attempt.

Nunes and House Republicans have been desperately trying to do the dirty work for Trump by demanding it from Rosenstein but thus far they’ve largely been unsuccessful. Trump can’t testify and wont testify because he doesn’t know what to say.
This is the biggest liberal myth on earth. Again, Trump and his team has access to any classified document in the US. They know everything Meuller knows...and more.
What they also know is Muellers actual job is to investigate foreign interference in the 2016 election. They know Muelle4 has made zero attempt to investigate the Democrats and thier foriegn influence. Does anyone think it’s odd that Mueller seems incredibly interested in the fact that the honey pot Russian lawyer met with the Trump campaign—-but has no interest that the same Russian lawyer met with Fusion GPS TWICE on the same day as the Trump meeting (immediately before the meeting and immediately after the Trump meeting).
The only conclusion one can draw is Mueller is all about bringing down a president and has zero interest in doing his job—-which is reporting on how foriegn interests meddled in the 2016 election. I wouldn’t say crap to Mueller—mainly because you can’t trust the man—which is a label Mueller has earned in his discharge of his duties (from selecting a partisan ethically challenged team, to ignoring any democrat ties to foriegn governments, to filing rushed thinly researched indictments that are not sound enough to defend in court).
Mueller has proven by his actions and conduct that he doesn’t care about finding the truth—-he wants to find a witch—-and that witch is going to be a Republican come hell or high water.
if the Trump team already knows, then they should supply Nunes with the information he is requesting instead of having the House threaten the Justice Department with the impeachment of Rosenstein in order to get that information.
The White House could fire Rosenstein if they wanted to. They could also order Rosenstein the release the documents. Or, the president could simply declassify the documents and give them to Nunes---or to the press for that matter.
So why hasnt it happened. Simple. Its not time yet. I think you will see all that I mention occur.....in October.

Stellar record? I suggest you read up on Mr Mueller, his ethics, and the ethically challenged nature of the staff he assembled.
There were 8 people already charged, tried, and serving time in jail for crimes directly related to the Watergate scandal after less than 8 months after the Watergate break in. That was with a White House that fought the investigation and with a Justice Department that had the entire staff fired to try to stymie the probe. Less than 24 months after the break in, the president had resigned. If a real Russian collusion crime of this magnitude had occurred with this many people involved---it would already be over.
Keep in mind, the first 7 months of this investigation was led by a hostile Justice Department under Obama (we are now learning the investigation may have been going on more than year under Obama). Keep in mind, the vast majority of the folks working on this case under the Obama Justice Department---are still running Justice. During the Obama led "investigation" (most would just call it spying), the government utilized all 17 US intelligence agencies, bugged phones, and even had spies actually inside the Trump campaign. If there was something to Trump collusion---we'd know it by now. Hell, we'd have known it in real time when it occurred (thats what intelligence agencies do). If there was something really there---we would not be 2.5 years into a probe with nothing to show for it but charges against some facebook account company and a decade old money laundering charge.

Go ahead and fire some links off. You have yet to provide any ethical violations other than the fact that he is still leading an ongoing investigation (which has how many indictments and at least what... 4 people charged so far with how many pleas ?).
If you are going to openly challenge his ethics... I'll need a bit more please.

I have a question: Tulane's record this year ? My guess ? 7-5 and the New Orleans bowl. If I nail it, what do I win ?

JDT wanting to discuss ethics. That's rich.
Ok. Indicting a ham sammich: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-t...SKBN1IA1I7
Bankrupting people to have them compose rather than sing:

Bankrupting people to get them to give you something, even if not true is very unethical. Much like crawfishing on a bet. You may wanna put me back on ignore cause I'm gonna keep putting you on blast for your ethics.

He was given the nickname "Bobby Three Sticks" by the FBI rank and file, because his arrogant and condescending attitude toward them. He signed all correspondence "Robert Mueller III," which they took as a statement that he felt his patrician, Ivy-League background was too good for them.

I have a hard time in pronunciation and another way of saying the three sticks part is "the third". I usually pronounce it "the turd". Could it be used in this instance, as in Robert Mueller the Turd"?
