These things are not public and no one will admit it because it will obviously cause a backlash at the employer from general public even though its done in their best interest and i personally know one but won't disclose. You guys have enough pull to join FBS ranks when you have no conference affiliation and there are several schools that would call it unfair but it doesn't matter you have NCAA convinced. Anyways some of your own alumni blabbering should tell you at least some of it and yes its the same quality of links that you provided to back your claims of NFL talent. Your wait is over.

Any smack talk w/ LU is going to get personal it's inevitable. I will say this the administration brings it on themselves and hard for us to defend but a lot of it is pure ignorance and false narratives as well aka the Evolution that was brought up. Yes, our administration sucks a** but our professors, staff and students continue to raise the bar on academics and challenging the administration.

Lastly the good ole "Employers throwing resumes from Liberty straight to trash". We hear that so many times. Hasn't hurt graduates get jobs.


As for TV that was brought up. McCaw recently did an interview where he stated that we're in negotiations on a TV deal with someone. If its not done by game time. You can count on it being on ESPN 3/ESPN +

Back to stadiums. JMU's Bridgeforth Stadium is awesome. True, one side is not yet finished. However, Bridgeforth was a teardown and rebuild. No build overtop of what is already there mishmash:phew: Lane Stadium. Show me a steeper double decker. The club suites are awesome, open bar and great food.

A completed Bridgeforth will be 45k, not 65K but it will be every bit as sweet, maybe sweeter than Scott, Lane, Williams or Forman.

So let’s talk some football. I admittedly don’t know a bunch about your team. I’ve looked at last years record, didn’t watch a full game last year but did see some highlights and have perused your message boards. What I’ve gathered is that your strongest positions are WR & QB. This admittedly presents a problem for the Monarchs. Our best and deepest squad is the defensive line without a doubt. We’ll rush 4 and press your QB without a doubt but if your QB has good instincts and can get the ball off and your receivers can get some separation you’ll gain some yardage. What I’ve seen they are talented but I’m thinking your O Line is more of Albany’s caliber than say Marshall’s. Buckshot is going to spend some time on his back. I think it’ll be enough to get enough stops to win the game but our offense has to do thier part. On the other side of the ball I see us trying to shove the ball down your throat. Our O Line isn’t great by FBS standards by any means but we’ve got some experience there and hope to see some gains. Our backfield is pretty loaded. We lost Lawry who was a dynamic runner but Jeremy Cox is back for his senior year and there’s no finesse to this guy, he’s a bruiser and hard to bring down. We have a slew of other talented running backs behind him both with some experience and some freshman who’ve been lighting up camp. With the new rules for redshirting we’ll likely see some. I think we could win with all that being said. But our offense becomes very one dimensional if our passing game doesn’t get going and we’ll be little better than last year. I think it does but I’m just being optimistic. We’ll see in a few short weeks. Live to her others thoughts on how we match up.

This is pretty funny and true too, especially with our coaching staff right now. Hoping they prove us both wrong this year.

We will be good at QB and WR. We return four starters at OL but I wouldn't consider it a strength. I am leaning towards "solid" or "not a weakness" rather than strength.

Our defense is crap. We will need to outscore to win (duh!). Our head coach is not an asset and will likely cost us some games. Some think he recruits well but our performance hasn't coincided so he either isn't as good a recruiter or as good a coach. Either would be a problem.
