RE: Supreme Court Gamble???
What's wrong with getting a justice to correct the wrong of RvW? It's simply bad law whichever side of the murder/don't kill your own kids issue one is on. Fix it.

Currently, 68% of people polled either want no abortions, or abortions with limitations. Only a minority want non-restricted abortions.
This is not going to be an election hot topic. This topic is very 1990's. The old white people of the democratic party may try to make it an issue, but it wont be. Right now, the country is evenly split on pro-choice vs pro-life, with pro choice being down 6 points since the middle of Obamas term. There has been a shift in recent years to being more pro-life, and people being in favor of more serious limits on abortions. So its simply not going to be an issue that overrides things like the economy and jobs.

I believe abortion is the most divisive issue our nation largely due to the fact that all other issues have been solved legislatively. Only the courts are allowed to do anything about abortion and pretty much have to sign off on any state or federal legislative changes on the topic. That is not how the system is supposed to work and is a major reason why this issue will not resolve itself

Alt-left floating the idea of court stacking. They are truly having a meltdown of epic proportions.
GOP should introduce a 1-sentence amendment that says SCOTUS will always remain at 9 seats. Turns the dems' hand face up. If they don't vote for it, they are proving that they want to turn SCOTUS into a legislative arm of their agenda, and will do so at first opportunity.
Also, if you want to see a red wave. Whew boy.

As long as a decision stands that weighed a woman's right to privacy as greater than committing murder, it will be an abomination. The original opinion mentions the "life" of the fetus. I'd like to hear a legal opinion on squaring the difference between a "clump of cells" and "life" as written in the opinion of Roe v Wade
