It might be in certain states or regions, but it wouldn’t be the state of California to try to succeed from the federal govt. which could happen. I think what you would have is Left vs. Right rioting. If the left doesn’t like certain policies put into place for example like immigration then you would have protesters raid the ICE headquarters, or for example if they do not like the policies that federal govt. we’re putting in place, example would be getting rid of food stamps, or welfare I could see forces trying to raid Congress or Social Security office. Rioting anywhere to shut down the govt.. Specially if the govt. is controlled by the right.

At that point what is the plan of action, would the right fight back, or sit ideally by while the govt. would have to take down the protesters. If that happens and gets out of hand you would have the govt. fighting its own citizens. At which point a Civil War could break out.

The last time we had state or states to break away from the US was our Civil War under Lincoln's watch.

Yes, we are heading into a civil war. Our country is heading way too far to the right where it is becoming a dictator country being run by the minority.

And, I'm fairly certain Trump and the Senate will appoint a good conservative SC Justice soon, and the dems will lose ground in the November elections.

Liberals get mad and talk war. But then they send solid citizen soldiers in to do it for them. You won't find a liberal in combat. They all see themselves as the too valuable for that sacrifice, which is why they are out of touch with who they are, and how they are perceived. But if a point of conflict arises you get the embassy controversy all over again because to save face on some stupid esoteric viewpoint they will abandon our own and then deny responsibility. We're just repeating what we saw from this country 50 years ago. Some protests and civil unrest but not a civil war. No assassinations yet but sadly we may see another like we did in 1968. We got through the late 1960's and this country will survive the current unrest too.
