I have a few minor changes to this.

Troy's looks right, but maybe 8-4 if we lost to ULM early. CCU is extremely undervalued when you understand the dynamics of last season's team. Ga. Southern is probably on the right track, and their program history tells me to bet on them. Louisiana had bigger problems than most realized last season, and it will take some time to rebuild. They may be better statistically in year one, but it may not show up on the scoreboard until year 2. Ark. St. will need to prove it can win OOC. Tulsa will be no pushover, and they've shown they can lose to bad teams like UNLV at home. I'll give them 3 losses OOC and 1 in conference, OR they split with 2 losses in each. I dinged APP ST one, just because they have a lot of really good players to replace.

I think as long as the team is competitive and continues to progress especially during the 2nd half of the year then the fans will give him more time. CCL has built an excellent coaching staff and brought that True Blue culture back. I'm willing to accept a few bumps in the road and HC blunders as long as that swagger is shown on and off the field.

That's true. In the FBS, I haven't seen the Eagles progress during the season yet. In 2014, we started out strong but could barely beat ULM by the end of the season. In 2015, we started strong again and stayed somewhat consistent but lost to Georgia State to end the season and pulled it together for the bowl game. In 2016 and 2017, we didn't play football so those years don't count.

Do make you feel better about that 2014 ULM team. It was a decent squad had some good players HC n OC sucked azz. We should have beat Texas AM but HC went conservative and let them come back to beat us at the end. I was at the Ga Southern game. You guys have a great atmosphere I enjoyed the game day experience.
