Yes, I bought one. $52, ends up being $60 with delivery.

RE: Need Help with the LA trip
Heading out to LA for the game. Can't miss the chance of a lifetime to see my team take the field in the iconic Rose Bowl. Likely won't happen again in my lifetime.
Bought our tickets through Scorebig for $17. (Normally we buy thru UC but to save some dough we bought via Scorebig.)
For anyone else heading out to LA — on friday 8/31, you can take a behind the scenes tour of the Rosebowl for $19 each. The tour only runs one day a month and happens to fall on 8/31 for August. I think it starts at noon and ends at 2 p.m.
Anyone know if UCAA is hosting any kind of alumni tailgate before the game?

RE: Need Help with the LA trip
Here you go from an email I got the other day from UC:
Bearcats Football travels to California to take on the UCLA Bruins on Saturday, September 1. This is the first game of the 2018 football season, and UC's first against UCLA at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium.
UC alumni and fans are invited to join the UC Alumni Association for the official "Bearcats on the Road" pregame tailgate at Brookside Golf Club, “just a chip shot from the Rose Bowl.” We are expecting Bearcats to travel in from all over the country.
$50 pre-registration includes a lunch buffet and open bar.
Children 2 and under are complimentary.
Space is limited.
Register by August 10 and you’ll be entered in a raffle to win a VIP parking pass!
Football game tickets are not available through the Alumni Association. Please visit GoBearcats.com to purchase tickets. Call the UC Ticket Office with any questions at 513-556-2287.

I'd love to go to this. One of my nephews lives in LA and it'd be a good excuse to see him again. Last time I went was 2007

RE: Need Help with the LA trip
I was originally planning on going to this game as part of a Cali trip with my wife, but since she starts grad school in 3 weeks, we decided to go last week. Was in LA the past few days, beautiful place, except downtown.

That is the thing I miss the most about no longer living in the LA area.
L.A. Proved too much for the man
Too much for the man, he couldn't make it
So he's leavin' the life he's come to know uhoo
He said he's goin'
He said he's goin' back to find
Goin' back to find
Ooh, what's left of his world
The world he left behind
Not so long ago
He's leavin' (leavin')
On that midnight train to Georgia
Leavin' on the midnight train
Said he's goin' back
Goin' back to find
To a simpler place in time
Oh yes he is

Have not been in LA in almost 20 years, that place is just not for me. I like Palm Springs, though.
