Eh, I strongly disagree. Randy was better in every category of the game than Green, but that's to be expected. Just because Randy disappeared in the tournament doesn't erase what he did all season long.

Haynes was better in almost every category but not by a large margin. It isnt unrealistic to expect Green to be an upgrade next year.

Something that stuck out to me, is ODU is no longer too prideful. We will now look for 2-for-1's and guarantee games on the road with P5's. That's good because saying we will only do 1 for 1's wasn't working.

It’s the unfortunate reality of our weak conference schedule. We need more opportunities to make hay. Will be an interesting experiment. I hope they go with a 2 for 1 with a top tier AAC team. Start building familiarity with our target league.

Also, I wasn’t surprised we were the first one out at the NIT - stinking autobids. We deserved to be in.

Early season scenario. We all agree the team will need some time to mesh with the newcomers and we'll lose some games early but will be good by conference play. We'll lose a close one in the early season tourney to one of the P5 teams, then lose another to one of the G5's before winning one against the worst G5 team. We'll go on to win most of our OOC schedule but lose to any higher ranked teams, then go on to win a ton of games in conference before being bounced in the second round of the tourney and being snubbed by NCAA and NIt once again, wash, rinse, repeat.

Very likely scenario. Hopefully it includes a win against vcu.

Thing that stuck out to me was instead of Ed saying we return 3 starters, he said we have three starters “eligible” to return. Not sure if I’ve seen that phrasing before. Makes you wonder if Ed’s heard the same rumors.

In that case, let's start about 6 different threads concerning our football stadium and maybe they will give us a few answers.

Now that Porter has transferred, I bet many would like to revise their thinking. I predicted if porter stayed we would be about the same. If he left we would not be any where near as good. While guard play usually dominates in a tournament format. Regular season play requires consistency in most all facets. A 20 win season is too optimistic in my book.

20 wins mean nothing anymore, especially in this conference. We may well win 20, even if we are a 150 RPI team. 12 is almost a gimme just in conference. If our OOC schedule is as bad as it way this year, we'll probably get to 20.

I was about to say, seems to be too soon to predict how many wins we will get when we don't even know who is on the schedule
