Who cares how it got out? News leakers come in many shapes and forms. However, there is only one decision maker and guess what they havent done while the entire city is buzzing? That is DENY it. Even if its a "we havent made any decision...wink wink" denial they didnt even bother to do that. Just sit quietly while literally an entire city is crowning him coach, looking into ticket packages, and picking players and his staff in their heads. Thats more unprofessional than any undercover leaker.

It was inevitable it would leak. Too many people knew. Agents, lawyers, potential new staff, their friends, their families.

Administration should have told Tubby before they left for the AAC tourney, and given him the option to coach or not.

But how the news got out will be quickly forgotten.
